“This place is excellent! I was in the neighborhood for work and I wanted healthy food and this was the first place that came up. They have great grab and go options as well as smoothies, soup, mushroom burgers and plant based entrees to go. I had the vanilla peanut protein smoothie, tofu scramble and vegetable soup. All were delicious and the staff is very friendly. I wish I lived closer because I'd go back all the time. Thank you for offering healthy food at prices that are reasonable!“
“I always order a bowl with pork and various healthy additions. The pork is so tasty and all of the vegetables and other toppings are very fresh. The portions are huge. One bowl usually lasts for two meals. Prices are great. Friendly service and clean place. Amazing all around. This place is an underrated gem in Astoria on Broadway between 21st and the river! Not a dine in spot. (Since Covid, I think…they’ve removed all the tables inside.) Get takeout and enjoy your meal at Socrates Sculpture Park nearby.“
“My son is a customer at Neil's and he buys for me whatever I need. If Neil has doubts or questions regarding to what I'm looking for he will call me to discuss. Neil will make suggestions according to what's beneficial to me. Will lose a sale if it's not beneficial. If something is not in stock or he doesn't carry an item Neil usually will order it. A friend of mine from the Queens-Brooklyn border likes Neil's a lot and stops into the store every time she visits.“
“Ordered delivery from here today and was blown away by how good the food was and how big the portions were for the price that I paid. I had the Mediterranean chicken burrito and I scarfed it down so fast, it was so yummy. It also came with a side of lentil soup which was amazing! Their carrot protein muffins are to die for too, my son ate his so quickly. This will be my new go-to for healthy wholesome food. Wish I had ordered from here sooner!“
“Love, love, love Sobol! Truly the best açaí bowls and I have tried many. Their açaí is super creamy and the perfect amount of sweet. They layer granola on the bottom and top so you still have some left at the end. The fruit is always fresh and the portion is large! I've always received very quick, friendly service when I stop at this particular location.“
“A consistently delicious meal. I love almost everything I get here. I'm actually pretty obsessed with the chicken salad wrap! I miss the old paint job though, since the bright white is less comfortable to sit in. I also wish there was more room inside, it's pretty crammed. Overall, a good spot for a takeout of a quick healthy meal. The juices are delicious and the seafood salad is great too. My husband really likes the Buffalo chicken wrap.“
