“The food is one of the best Thai food I’ve ever tasted. Almost all dishes on the menu can be made gluten free and have many dairy free options as well. I suffer from Celiac disease and never had any issues eating there. On the contrary, their coconut based curry makes my tummy feel so happy! My new favorite Thai restaurant!!!

“loved the Pistachio cake from Luigi’s in Carmel so much that I ordered one for my mother’s 96th birthday. I was in Florida and couldn’t partake but my sister picked it up in Carmel and my mom, sister and family were able to enjoy it. There were 7 people at dinner and due to the size and height of the cake, you can see they barely made a dent (however it was completely gone within 2 days). Everyone was absolutely crazy about it and everyone sent me pictures and called to thank me. It’s a shame to even call it a cake because you naturally think of something you buy in a bakery. This is a whole different world. This cake is exquisite. The flavor is outstanding, it is extremely moist, it has a ton of filling and frosting but not that sickeningly sweet kind – this is all top notch ingredients and completely unique. I felt awful because I know I didn’t give Luigi’s much notice and I know his wife worked 14 hours the previous day baking. But I didn’t feel so guilty that it stopped me from ordering it and they were so gracious about helping me. As you can see in the pictures, the attention to detail, the edible flowers, the beauty of the cake made it a birthday present in and of itself. I just cannot thank Luigi and his awesome wife enough for helping to make my mom’s 96th birthday special.”

“I gave been to playa bowl over 10 times and my experience today was not good. The staff today was not very welcoming. If the owners were there today when I went they sure were not friendly. I told the cashier no coconuts and they put some in, then she says you want a lid and I said well yea, it’s to go. She didn’t even put them in a bag. I always buy the Nutella one and I always buy 2. All the other times I had no problems great staff and friendly.”

“It's a cute little spot. The food was rather good, a few unsavory meat pieces,in the special beef pho. Otherwise, I would recommend the Vietnamese egg rolls. The more authentic option of Banh Mi was alright but more soggy than I think most would like. The only qualm is that my water wasn't refilled for the majority of my time there and was refilled with warm water. So now I have come back and would love to say there is now ice cold water and was refilled twice and the food was better in quality and taste would strongly recommend.”

“I ordered a cake for the first time for a friend’s shower. The cake was so delicious (and pretty-they did such a nice job!), the staff were so family friendly and the prices are totally reasonable ! While we were there, we also picked up some dog biscuits and carrot cake cupcakes. My kids and dogs loved them!! I would highly recommend this bakery and this will certainly be my go to spot from now on. Thank you! 😊”

“We had a great time and enjoyed the setting. Take the review from that guy “Will Wild” with a grain of salt. Anyone with that much time on their hands to whine about the farm and rustic tables (which didn’t phase us whatsoever and we were happy to have a place to sit outside to enjoy the live music) is not the type that should be visiting Obercreek. There are plenty of industrial breweries in the area to check out. If you expect a farm setting, that’s what you’ll get here. The beers we had were enjoyable. We are returning customers and will continue to visit. Cheers!”

“One of my favorite places in the whole Hudson Valley. The Dutchess Biercafe brings delicious bites and sips in virtually every single of their menu items. Too many things I like here to describe but I’ll give you my top 2:

The poutine is to die for and if you add a runny egg on top it’s somehow even better. The pretzel is perfection. It’s warm, soft, and the beer cheese they give you with it is perfectly balanced.”
