“The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and we were warmly welcomed with genuine kindness and hospitality. The food and drinks were excellent! We especially enjoyed the mint lemonades, mixed grill kebabs, an adana special, and ratatouille. Everything—from the presentation to the service—was simply lovely. I asked for a Coke with lemon and was pleasantly surprised to receive it with freshly squeezed lemon already prepared in the glass. Sounds silly, but it was honestly the best Coke and lemon I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!”

“The food is one of the best Thai food I’ve ever tasted. Almost all dishes on the menu can be made gluten free and have many dairy free options as well. I suffer from Celiac disease and never had any issues eating there. On the contrary, their coconut based curry makes my tummy feel so happy! My new favorite Thai restaurant!!!

“loved the Pistachio cake from Luigi’s in Carmel so much that I ordered one for my mother’s 96th birthday. I was in Florida and couldn’t partake but my sister picked it up in Carmel and my mom, sister and family were able to enjoy it. There were 7 people at dinner and due to the size and height of the cake, you can see they barely made a dent (however it was completely gone within 2 days). Everyone was absolutely crazy about it and everyone sent me pictures and called to thank me. It’s a shame to even call it a cake because you naturally think of something you buy in a bakery. This is a whole different world. This cake is exquisite. The flavor is outstanding, it is extremely moist, it has a ton of filling and frosting but not that sickeningly sweet kind – this is all top notch ingredients and completely unique. I felt awful because I know I didn’t give Luigi’s much notice and I know his wife worked 14 hours the previous day baking. But I didn’t feel so guilty that it stopped me from ordering it and they were so gracious about helping me. As you can see in the pictures, the attention to detail, the edible flowers, the beauty of the cake made it a birthday present in and of itself. I just cannot thank Luigi and his awesome wife enough for helping to make my mom’s 96th birthday special.”

“One of my favorite places in the whole Hudson Valley. The Dutchess Biercafe brings delicious bites and sips in virtually every single of their menu items. Too many things I like here to describe but I’ll give you my top 2:

The poutine is to die for and if you add a runny egg on top it’s somehow even better. The pretzel is perfection. It’s warm, soft, and the beer cheese they give you with it is perfectly balanced.”

“This was my first trip to this brewery. First impression was a very small brewery and almost felt like you were in someone’s backyard. This cozy feel was a good thing. I quickly felt at home, the staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable. The overall vibe was warm and neighborly. I meant to stop in quickly and leave but ended up staying for several hours. As far as the actual beers, I had some very tasty IPAs. The beers I tried were all New England style and juicy but not too sweet. I ended up having a great time and would rate the beers highly. The place is very small and minimal can and draft selection but what is available is delicious .”
