My husband and I tried Jackson Hall American Bar & Grille for the first time tonight. Place was very busy. Had a very nice vibe when walking in. Our server Danny was great! Very friendly. Checked on us several times. Had no problem making recommendations. Chef Michael came by several times as well. Was very friendly. We started out with Mussels in a lobster sauce with chunks of lobster. It was delicious! We then had the honey crab legs. They were so tasty. The crab was so meaty. There is no way you will leave this restaurant hungry. Portions are fantastic! We ended the night with cheesecake. It was the perfect ending to our meal. We will definitely be back to try more stuff on the menu!
Jackson Hall did not disappoint! The food was beyond fabulous. Portions were unbelievable....huge! We were treated like royalty from chef Mike. He came to our table, shared his story with us and took the time get to know us as well. What an incredible experience. We will be back for sure!
The lobster rolls were outstanding. Such a nice place to have a few drinks and enjoy a nice meal, will be back soon. Thanks

extremely disappointed..tried making a reservation for a large party for a special birthday dinner and was told they don't like to make reservations for parties larger than 8 people for after 4pm.. I asked if i can book two tables then and was told that they wouldn't seat us next to each other... This is ridiculous...but it's okay I'll take my 1000+ bill to another restaurant.
The lobster roll was the best I ever had on the eastern seaboard. I'll be back to try the dinosaur beef rib and plus more lobster rolls.
Best lobster on LI.

Started with a nice drink at the bar and the service was great. Dinner was amazing all around. Food was delicious and the portions were huge for the money. Looking forward to going back.

Excellent service and fantastic food! Such generous portions on the lobster rolls. We had 4 different ones, each one better than the next. The cocktails were delicious with many to choose from. Highly recommend!
The food and service is outstanding. Parking is limited. Very noisy with the high ceilings. A definite must try!
The food was great, the Best Lobster Rolls ever. Great outdoor patio area, and lots of parking. The service was good which is uber important to me. We didn't feel rushed like in many other food establishments where table turn over is more important than the customer. Everything we ordered off the menu, was exactly how they said it would be, cooked to perfection. One reminder: if you choose to sit outdoors, remember the elements are not the fault of the restaurant, we had a little issue with bees, but management did assist with getting rid of it. We drove 1 1/2 hours from Brooklyn and it was well worth the ride.
Place is noisy, but the food is fantastic. Service is slow and it usually is. We've been there three times this summer for lunch and it always takes a long time to get through the meal. The food is worth the wait. Best Lobster bisque I've ever had and I've been to Boston and all part of New England and Long Island. Very popular eatery.
The only complaint is the vent was FREEZING on me the entire time but it didn't in-do all the perfect lunch we had!!!! Bravo
