“We dined at the Majors Restaurant in East Meadow. Dinner was delicious. I have no complaints about that. Here is my issue. Little, but it’s the principle. My husband ordered a cup of coffee after our $158 Dinner. The coffee came and when he put milk in it, I noticed it was really dark. I tasted it. WOW it was burnt, old & muddy. I called the waiter over and asked for a new brewed cup of coffee. He came back with a cup from the SAME pot. Normally I would of just moved on & left it. But when the bill came we were charged $3.50. For 1 cup of burnt coffee? Sorry it was the principle. If you are going to charge your clients $3.50 for a cup of coffee, invest in a Keurig where every cup is fresh. You make a great margin per cup?”

“My buddy and I went to dinner at the Grand Stage Diner on 4/10/24 prior to the Islanders game. The diner was clean, the hostess was very nice and friendly and the wait staff was excellent. We each ordered burgers w/ fries. I have to say it was one of the best cheeseburgers I ever had at a diner. Food was hot, perfectly cooked. Superb! I would definitely go back. “We used Carolyn's Kitchen for our baby shower last weekend and the food was very tasty. Carolyn had good communication leading up to the event and worked with us to make a custom menu. On the day of the event she arrived a little late for set up, but the guests didn't notice. Her and her son were kind and served our guests buffet style. We would definitely use her catering services again. We ordered rasta pasta, wings (jerk and lemon pepper), Mac and cheese egg rolls, plantain cups (vegan), and garden salad. Carolyn and her son packed up the food and then laid out the dessert cups: peach cobbler and banana pudding. My husband is still talking about the peach cobbler. Everything was delicious!”

Decor cosmopolitan, they spent a lot of money on the chairs but now the faux leather vinyl is sagging, peeling and it’s hard to find a comfortable seat. “The food here is the closest thing you can get to home cook meals. Plenty of choices especially in the back like breakfast platter and freshly made pupusas (a Salvadorean especialty). I highly recommend this place.”

“Pretty typical neighborhood bar — pool table, dartboard, and a big food menu with all the usual favorites. I came in for the wings special I saw online, but it turns out the menu I found was about nine months old. Instead, it was Taco Tuesday. The tacos were good, not amazing, but definitely decent bar food.

The bartender/server was super friendly and kept things moving even though she seemed to be handling most of the bar on her own. The wings looked great when I saw a few orders come out — and apparently, they’re only 50¢ each on Wednesdays from 7pm to close, so I might have to come back to try them then.

Overall, a solid, laid-back spot for a casual night out.”

“We came in on a Sunday about 8:40, well before the listed 9:30 closing time, and were warned as we came in that they actually close at 9:20. It seemed odd that it would be an issue with plenty of time to order; but apparently unlike most restaurants the closing time is a matter of when they expect you to actually leave.

Still, with seemingly enough time, we ordered, and the appetizer - soft shell crab - came quickly. Unfortunately, though it was not one of the dishes listed as “spicy”, it came with spicy mayo on top. I told the server that I can’t eat spicy food, would not have ordered it if I had known, and asked her to take it back. She gave me an argument, saying I should have told her I can’t eat spicy food. I pointed out that since they list some dishes specifically as spicy, one would assume - as in most other restaurants - that the rest are not. She reluctantly took it back, and informed us the Angel Roll we had ordered, also not labeled spicy, came with spicy mayo on top as well, so we also asked for that to be redone.

This pushed things closer to closing time, and rushed our meal a bit. But I have to say that the food was wonderful: The crab crisp outside, moist inside; the sushi fresh, and the pineapple shrimp fried rice delicious.

So despite the unfortunate attitude we encountered, this restaurant is well worth the trip for the excellent food. Just keep in mind that the closing time is not what’s listed on the website. And that it’s best, whatever the menu says, to ask details before ordering.”

“I like coming to Vincenzo’s of East Meadow. I hope people are not getting confused with the one on the same street (Newbridge Rd) in North Bellmore, literally 15 blocks down. Love the family that owns and works there. The food is great and the prices are good. You can get bake ziti, a whole pie, garlic Knots and hero for $25. Soups are fresh and their chicken roll is excellent. Pizza is pretty close to NYC taste. What I’m also noticing is some places are getting bad reviews like nail salons that have the same name. I would recommend this place to family and friends. Give them a try. If it wasn’t for you, no harm done there are many places to try.”

From the moment I got to there she greeted me with the warmest smile and made me feel like a valued customer right away. Even though there was a bit of a line she stayed calm, upbeat, and professional the entire time. She handled each order with care and patience, making sure everyone got exactly what they wanted without ever seeming rushed or overwhelmed.When it was my turn, I had a few specific requests for my order and Mia didn’t hesitate or get annoyed like some people might. Instead she listened carefully, gave great suggestions, and made sure everything came out perfect. The way she took the time to double-check and make my treat exactly the way I like it showed how much pride she takes in her job. On top of that, she kept such a positive vibe that it made the whole experience even better something you don’t always get at places that are super busy.
Honestly, workers like Mia are rare. She goes above and beyond just taking orders she creates a whole experience that makes customers want to come back. She’s respectful, hardworking, and truly cares about doing her job well. I hope Ralph’s management sees how lucky they are to have someone like her on their team. “Trying to find a great Chinese restaurant is so hard till today. Hands down amazing. We called the restaurant and the woman that answered is the best. She said once we put our order in to call back. When we did she knew right away our order and was a pleasure to speak to. I love ribs on the bone and have had good ones in so long. Hands down the best. I have haven’t had Shrimp w. Lobster Sauce in ages omg it was amazing We wanted Sweet & Sour Chicken with white meat and thats all they do plus big pieces that are more meat than dough on outside. The prices are also very reasonable, which is a huge plus. They’re very personable and remember their customers, which makes you feel valued. I’ll definitely be going back to this location in the future. Plus, they don’t charge a delivery fee for Uber Eats or DoorDash, and their prices are the same as if you went into the store. “We enjoy food from this little takeout about once a week, even in the summer. They make just about everything you can think of, including French Fries! And they are delicious. Those crinkle cut kind, cooked well. I happen to love their Egg Foo Young and I feel their price for the dinner menu is very fair and reasonable. My husband love EVERYTHING and I feel like in the past 30 yrs of marriage that we have been going to this take out restaurant, he has tried everything on the menu, and that is a lot of food. They also will do substitution's which for me is a big deal. I can’t stand celery, Just the thought of it makes me gag. When I asked for my meals that I know there are going to be vegetables in there I let them know about no celery and never once in all these years have they forgotten. Obviously we will continue to frequent this take out with the convenient location.”

“We went in for an early lunch around 11 am. We had been wanting to go to try some halal korean food for long. They do have halal certifications on their wall, but they also serve alcohol there. We asked the attendant, and he confirmed that they do serve alcohol but they make sure not to contaminate the rest. Its a full service restaurant.

We ordered:

1. Crazy nachos 6/10
2. Bulgogi over rice 9/10
3. Korean fried chicken drumsticks and thighs (sweet chili) 6/10
4. Crispy chicken burger 7/10
5. Strawberry lychee tea without boba

Crazy nachos were good, but i think for $20 its bit expensive as there were too many chips with not enough toppings.

We didn't want to go with super spicy, so we ordered spice level 2 sweet chili fried chicken. We think it's more on the sweeter side than chilies as being on level 2 there should have been a little tiny kick. We did request them to give us some mango habenero sauce on the side. He was kind enough to serve some. It tasted well and had that spice kick. Fried chicken was crispy, crunchy, and juicy.

Bulgogi over rice was our favorite. Beef was well cooked and well seasoned. It was missing the egg on top. We didnt realize until later.

Crispy chicken sandwich was nothing crazy but good. Fries tasted fresh.

Strawberry lychee tea was good. Loved the way they serve it. As we were one of 1st customers of the day, the attendant said he won't be able to add bobba as it takes some time to prepare it. Which worked for us as we are not a big fan of it anyway.

The attendant was friendly. The restaurant was clean. The Washroom was a bit old and not super tidy. He mentioned the wait time for food would be 20 to 25 minutes, but I think we got all a little earlier.

So overall, it was a good experience.”
