Eat at this great local diner! Love the new look, menu and updates. Grits were YUM! And the insulated tea kettle was an awesome bonus!
It’s good for Elizabethtown, or Pleasant Valley as it was, to have this wonderful cafe. The owners saw a need for the area to have a place to sit down and have a nice hot breakfast or lunch. That cozy cafe atmosphere to catch up with friends and get tasty food. I’ve been a couple times, once for breakfast and the next time I had their BLT. Also they do their own chips so that just shows the love and dedication in their business. Highly recommend!
Really enjoyed the food in this fabulous cafe! Great small town atmosphere! All the employees seemed welcoming and friendly.
I will be coming back next time I am in the area!

The updated beautiful inside of Pleasant Valley Cafe offers a cozy breakfast‑lunch restaurant in Elizabethtown. The menu has great great prices and has breakfast tacos, hot maple chicken and waffles, chicken waffle, egg and cheese sandwich, biscuits and a complimentary community Thanksgiving day dinner. Breakfast tacos are hearty and delicious, made with fresh avacodo, no cheese and no sour cream, and can be finished with a little acid, spicier salsa or a squeeze of Lime. The hot maple chicken and waffles are outstanding, maybe the best chicken and waffles ever had. Service is excellent, friendly and helpful, with lovely hosts and a very nice owner. The atmosphere is very nice but a bit noisy during the busy lunch hour. The cafe is a real gem nestled in the Adirondak mountains, a big hit locally and amongst travelers, and a place where community are.
