“It's ice cream so how can you really go wrong. Love Perry's ice cream and they have got some good flavors here. It's a no frills ice cream shop. A crowd favorite is the butter pecan but I love the cookies and cream. Scoops are huge which is awesome but staff doesn't really seem to thrilled to be there. I don't understand unhappy people who work at ice cream shops which are happy places lol. I asked for two half scoops (so I can have two flavors but one scoop size), the staff said no and then proceeded to basically give me a 4 scoop cone. A little odd for a simple request when they are not stingy with the serving size but great little stop for ice cream in town!”

“Bethany has the best wraps! we order here a lot and all her staff is ALWAYS so friendly never have I ever been spoken to rudely by anyone at this restaurant and that to me is EXTREMELY important. Definitely recommend this place. :-)”

“We got married in the barn in October and used the outdoor chapel for our ceremony. Even with 4 inches of rain on our wedding day Brooke and Brannoin made our day absolutely perfect. They did everything possible to still give us our outdoor ceremony in the rain. We had a lot of requests for our reception and they made every single one of our wants and needs happen! All of the decorations they had complemented what we already had and our wedding colors so well! Having the bridal suite in the barn was an extra plus for the morning of and there was even space in the barn for the groomsmen to get ready. We were even able to arrange having transportation by the venue, to the venue, for guests staying at hotels in Plattsburgh, which worked out so well as they had free rides home as well. Our rehearsal dinner, and Reception appetizers, food, cake and bar service, all from the venue, was wonderful. Couldn’t recommend Brookside Barn and the Rainbow enough for a wedding or any event!”

“Been hearing good things and finally had the chance to stop in. I had the pulled pork sandwich with onion rings and baked beans. My son had a bacon burger with steak fries. Food was excellent. The barbecue sauce with the pulled pork was on point and the onion rings and baked beans were the perfect compliment. Service was quick and friendly. Prices were very reasonable considering the high quality of the food.I will go again for sure - great place.”
