Wayyy overpriced! They really charged me $40 for 2 small chicken noodle soups where the chicken tasted like leather.. it was way overcooked. Then I ordered 2 basic sandwiches on hard rolls with deli meat and the hard roll wasn't really fresh. Ridiculous prices. Next time I'll make my own soup and buy my own deli meat for that price and it'll last way longer.

I got a cornbeef sauqraut sandwhich on rye, the cornbeef was to tough for me . The bread it was on was delicious! My husband got a panini and it was excellent. On our way out the door we got two pieces of cake. I got the chocolate mouse they call it cake . The cake was dry. My husband got cheesecake it was great! I have been to cohens many times and this was the first time ever I had a dry cake so I'll keep going and going they have the best pastry and the people who work there are so nice!

Ask for 2 butter rolls to go. Was charged $5 open my wrapper when I was in my ca, the rolls where stale ( day old) and the amount of butter on the roll, when i could find the butter was pitiful.... could have went to Stewart's if i wanted roll like that

Got charged for an additional item I didn’t order. Receipts provided are vague, you don’t know what you paid for each item or what the pound price is. The biggest turn off is the “tip pressure” receipt. They give you a receipt with 4 boxes to choose from for various tipping levels. I had to hunt where to sign it, that area was at the top of the receipt. Who puts the total at the top? And when you are only bagging something out of the case for me to take to go, you actually think a tip is warranted? That’s your job, you are not special. I highly doubt that it’s still owned by anyone with the last name of Cohen anymore, that was obvious.
BEWARE!!! if you need a scheduled pickup or special order this is not the place for you. If you are looking for stale tasting pastries that are weeks old in the display this is your place.
