About Akino

Akino offers fresh sashimi and a variety of sushi rolls at a great price. The service is friendly and attentive, especially for larger groups. Highlights include the salmon and tuna sashimi, beef sirloin, takoyaki, and unique specials like crab with black caviar in truffle sauce. The all-you-can-eat option is popular and well-prepared, with sushi that often exceeds expectations, sometimes even better than some non-AYCE sushi places. The portions of rice are just right, not overwhelming like in many other AYCE spots. Customers find the food delicious and arrive quickly, making it a reliable choice. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff are helpful, making it suitable for casual lunches as well as special dinners. Reservations are recommended to avoid waiting, and parking may get busy due to nearby businesses, though taking the R or M train nearby can help. While some dishes like chicken wings may not always meet expectations, Akino remains a solid place to explore Japanese cuisine in a casual setting. The restaurant continues to improve in both food and service, with many customers happy to spend around $60-65 including tips for the all-you-can-eat experience. Akino is recognized as a standout AYCE sushi spot, where customers appreciate the value and the lack of excessive rice in rolls, ensuring a satisfying meal without feeling overly stuffed.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GO HERE!! I would give them 0 stars if i could!! Terrible service.

The staff are ill mannered and rude to customers. They rush you, slam down plates, and give attitude when you are trying to ask questions. I went a few times but they have no respect for customers and i will not be returning!

They request more money and are inconsiderate of the customers in the facility. They have increased their prices drastically however the food has been progressively...read full review

Selection was amazing! Waitresses are very attentive. They keep your water cup filled. I went on a Saturday evening so the price was $38.99. A little pricey for all you can eat sushi. I called first and was told that it was $28.99, which informed my decision to go. But when I got there the sign said $38.99! ,"Oh well, we already traveled here, I could've sworn she said $28.." "What's an extra 20 bucks"
Overall the food was amazingly prepared.

Food is good staff are friendly
