“I'm reluctant to spread the word about this amazing spot. The team maintains pleasant demeanors without exception. The bill aligns with what you receive. The food is worth coming back for! The place occupies a prime area and the staff was attentive throughout our visit.“

“My friends and I celebrated a birthday party with 12 guests and were completely blown away by the food and the hospitality. The duck, the trout, the skate, the beef longgasnia, the pork with pistachio-- everything was delicious. We did not want the night to end--Definitely our new favorite restaurant in all of NYC!“

“My friend suggested we have dinner, and it happened on a cold Tuesday evening in this new restaurant. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves being in the place. We even had the chance to briefly chat with one of the owners. We took our time with our meals and didn't feel like we had to rush ourselves. Or worst, impatiently wait for something that we thought would show up after a long wait. It was alright. I think it's mostly because we knew we're in a new place.“

“Super good food! It's definitely worth a stop in New York 🤩🥰 if you are craving for Filipino dishes. Chicken Inasal, BBQ pork, sisig chicken, sisig pork, pansit, pork lechon, and a very delicious kare-kare! Leave room for dessert w/ ube cake and halo-halo. Yes! 🥰 all that!“

“Delicious food in a lovely atmosphere. The Ube Espresso Martini is light unique and refreshing. The lumpia was crisp to perfection with a slight zing to their sweet chilli sauce. My wife loved the homemade shrimp paste that came with the kare kare. Meals were well portioned for an amazing price. Everything is done with touches of authentic Filipino culture“

“We first had our “taste” of Kabayan when my wife and I were invited by our friends for dinner, last month. We were impressed with the relaxing, friendly ambience of the place, the delicious food and great service of their Staff: QT and Justin. Tonight (April 23rd) we brought our own friends and grown up children to celebrate our Eldest Son’s Birthday. I only have SUPERLATIVES for this Place. Kabayan is the best really. All the food we ordered were excellent ( they have an excellent Chef), the ambience, atmosphere and most especially the great service of : QT and Justin. I even got to meet its Manager tonight, Jen. Very, very gracious and hospitable people and staff. I will bring all our friends and visitors here to Kabayan! I highly recommend Kabayan, “ hindi ka mapapahiya”.“

“The cutest local café, poc women owned! Fresh baked goods (from brookies to ube bread pudding) & food (breakfast sandwich on Foccacia) they are all made with love. This is the family oriented local café you want to support! Absolutely delicious with friendly service. I discovered my love for Authentic Filipino food at their Lunar New Year Dinner event! They offer in café dinner events and indoor dining now! They also provide catering (saved me at Thanksgiving!) and meal prep services!“

“So in-love with their ube cake! Must if you really want to get a good ube cake! Location: It is located along Queens Boulevard. The store was typical bakery, few seatings inside. Good display of breads, cakes and items from the Philippines. Service: not much interaction cause I just bought cake and go. Food: UBE CAKE: omg it is so good! The cake itself is moist even few days after I purchase! The frosting is like cream type, its a bit a lot but it taste good because it taste ube as well. Unlike other ube cakes that the cream does not taste ube! I almost eat half of the cake because it is so good! Price rating: 7/10, $45 for a round cake. Thats the usual price now for more stores! Definitely will come back here I will try their other flavors! But get the ube cake!!“
“The food was absolutely fantastic! Kare Kare and Sinigang were just stellar! The sylvanas tasted like home. We always come here and always will continue to come! You can tell all of the people working there really put a lot of effort into their dishes and I can’t appreciate it enough!“
