“Very respectful and friendly. I love going into a place that is welcoming - unlike other Filipino restaurants or store in Bergenfield are mostly Mataray and I had so much unpleasant experiences that made me don’t want to go back. In Cabalen’s Foods are good and I love that they cook something different every day. The place is clean which is A+ ❤️“

“Really Great Filipino food!“
“They serve the best tasting Filipino food I have tasted. My husband and I compared them to 4 other Filipino restaurants. We brought my mother and father-in-law here 3/17 and they APPROVE! She is kapampangan so she cooks very well! Their food here taste like her cooking. We highly recommend crispy pata, Kare-kare, bulalo, pakbet, pancit bihon and egg rolls! Been here 3x (January, Feb and March 2024).“

“I love the Filipino food they make here. My boyfriend and I always come and buy meals and Filipino food/drinks. This is a little hidden gem. Didn’t know about this place until a couple months ago. There’s so much typical Filipino food here. Pastries and Filipino products. You just have to check it out for yourself. I can’t explain it all.“

“I been there yesterday for my first time I enjoy the place the food was great the price are normal remember guys mc Donald use to be cheap but now it’s expensive so don’t complain quality price it’s ok the only thing I was disappointed it’s you can’t eat there I drive 5 miles thinking I will seat and eat there but no I had to bring back to my house great job I’m very happy over all“
“Probably the best Filipino bakery in NY/NJ area. The breads and pastries makes you miss home. Ube breads are the best! Location: It is located in Roosevelt along all the Filipino stores and restaurants. The taho are outside of the store. Service: she was nice. Filipino hospitality at its best! Food: The breads are delicious, fluffy and still good after few days. UBE PANDESAL: to me this was the best I had unlike online seller this has visible cheese and ube jam inside the bread. Heat it up in the microwave for 10 seconds and devour its goodness. TAHO: how i miss taho in the Philippines, this breakfast drink is all about my country. Those soft tofu top with boba and syrup is just what I want in my life. Lol. Price rating: 5/10, not that bad for Filipino food cravings. Definitely will eat more here and try more of their breads!! Definitely try ube pandesal and taho!!“

“Chicken sisig; very good flavor; I like that you can order spicy, nice textures, but a bit pricey.. The roasted lechon cooked perfectly and the sauces were very complimentary,,but again pricey. The turon was a bit problematic; a few pieces were burnt, and no jackfruit. Some would argue not necessary, but that’s how mom used to make it… Overall not a bad experience. If you’re looking for Filipino food, check them out, they’re ok in my book….“
