Not sure what the other reviewer said about it not being maintained - the products are organized in the aisles, the cafeteria is clean and the food is very tasty. Get here early for the Dinakdakan - it's a must have. The Sisig, while not sizzling, is fantastic to take home and re-fry or have as-is. The selection of products is varied enough, though they have enough space to expand to carry far more products - and hopefully they do in the future. The workers and owner are all super friendly and always have a smile on their faces.“

“They serve the best tasting Filipino food I have tasted. My husband and I compared them to 4 other Filipino restaurants. We brought my mother and father-in-law here 3/17 and they APPROVE! She is kapampangan so she cooks very well! Their food here taste like her cooking. We highly recommend crispy pata, Kare-kare, bulalo, pakbet, pancit bihon and egg rolls! Been here 3x (January, Feb and March 2024).“
“Ive been missing their grilled liempo and so we revisited this July and had a wonderful lunch!it wasnt too busy on an early Sunday but there was a good amount of people ahead of us already. Service was good and music played were nice! Ambiance is dark though, whereas i prefer places that have more natural light.We got their grilled liempo (of course!), shrimp sinigang and grilled bangus. Everything complimented each other - the savoriness of the pork and the warm and sour soup of the sinigang. The fish was nicely cooked and we loved the veggie toppings. We were so full but still decided to get the halo-halo anyway haha Ive had better halohalo though; theirs was little ube ice cream and the ice is not fine. Its pieces of ice that you have to crunch with your teeth rather than that melt in your mouth shaved ice so we’ll probably skip that next time. Overall its one hearty meal over here.“

“I came here on a Sunday afternoon because I was craving for authentic Filipino lechon (not lechon belly). I ordered food to-go and I am definitely so glad that I tried this place!The lechon itself is very flavorful. It is definitely Cebu-style lechon, with a crispy skin and a juicy, flavorful meat. The lechon sauce was also really good and tasted homemade. It was a perfect accompaniment to the lechon. It was also priced well- only $20/lb and they usually serve it during weekends.The crispy pata was also very good. The skin was perfectly crispy and the meat was tender and flavorful. The dipping sauce was also legit, with a nice balance of spicy, tart, and umami flavors.The owner, Louie, and Nanay (I forgot to get her name) were very nice and accommodating. They were happy to answer my questions about the food and they gave me some recommendations. I can't wait to go back to try the other dishes on their menu. I'm especially intrigued with the lechon sisig!“

You see, the owner, Kim, brings both worlds together in her cooking because of her background.My daughter ordered Udon, my wife, Yakisoba, and I ordered Pork Adobo over rice. Wow!!! And although her Pinakbet had run out by the time we arrived, Kim brought out what she had reserved for herself for me to have some! From the very first bite, we were all speechless. We just had to relish in the delicious flavors that we were tasting! We were each so impressed that we had to share with each other our dishes.And Kim makes you feel at home, treating you like she was mom for our time there. No precooked meals. She cooks it right then and there. Wow, just thinking about our whole experience makes me want to go back for more. Unfortunately, we came from PA 2 hours away, but if we happen to be in the Fair Lawn, NJ area, you can be sure we will be swinging by for Kim’s home cooked food again! “Ate here twice last weekend. We are hooked! The pork and vegetarian spring rolls are great, the pork and chicken entrees are scrumptious and the baked goods / desserts are outstanding.
