The food was delicious, price is great, and the wait wasn’t too long.

I’d say it’s good, there’s many employees and they help you when the line gets long, they ran out of sauce but that’s okay. I liked it. It was a queens center at the food court. Also they didn’t have like many sushi options.

Not the same as the 90s. Chicken is dry and burnt. Good food container though. I'll be keeping that and adding it to my collection.

The experience at this place was wonderful because of the great food. The food that I ordered was a Teriyaki Chicken Noodle with vegetable rice. The food tasted wonderful. The service was fast food. The atmosphere can be quiet.

Wheelchair accessibility: This store is wheelchair accessible because it is on flood level.

Although I don't go to the mall as much as I used to, I would always be down for Sarku. Lately, it seems that the food portions had drastically changed and customer service needs to be worked on. Years ago, chicken proportion to rice and vegetables were great and mostly balanced. When I recieved mine this time though, there were barely any chicken and vegetables, just mainly rice. For the increased price I am paying (I get it, inflation), I would hope to have the price be reflected on the chicken teriyaki meal. Nope. I felt that to approach to order with the cashier was kinda difficult, no obvious indicator that they were ready to take my order and it felt sped up so that they can move on. Having the food prepared was quite fast (I didn't go during rush food times), but unlike other chicken teriyaki places, they don't ask if you want sauce or not. I guess the default is that it will always be saucy. Thankfully I prefer that. I'm not sure if my food container was closed properly or what, but after spending time in the food court, I noticed that the sauce was leaking out in my bag. After realizing this, I went back to the place to get another bag. To my surprise, there were totally different people stationed there than what it was 30 min ago, I guess it was a work shift? I was worried that they may not have recognized that I have ordered not so long ago. Despite showing my receipt, showing I had their bag and food as well as explaining that I would like another bag to keep it from leaking/secure; the cook took one look at me and barely glance at the bag and just said "NO!" so loudly and rudely. Then proceed to ignore and look away from me to avoid any further interaction. I was completely shocked by the inconsiderate response. I get it if your stingy and cheap with your plastic bags. But a request to check if the food you were suppose to package correctly on a afternoon weekday shouldn't be met with such poor customer service. Gravely dissappionted. If I do want to give this a try again, I'll have to double check if the container is tightly shut and that I am not rushed on a empty weekday afternoon.

Summary: Although the food was good, portions are smaller than it was years ago. Expect unequal amounts of chicken, rice and vegetables inconsistent depending on who makes it and what time. If you want to ask for any extra basic accessories (napkins, bag, utensils, etc), you will be rudely addressed and given poor customer service. This is how I know they are not run by Japanese people despite the franchise name. Japanese people in the food industry usually focus on high quality product and excellent customer service.

I’ve been getting teriyaki chicken here for 8+ years. Over time it’s gotten worse, it’s either smaller portions, thinner meat, or oily rice. the beef has tons of veins too. last time I come here. Not the same food/store as before. I usually will get double meat, or today I got chicken AND beef. And it wasn’t enough. I literally had to buy more food elsewhere. And I would say I eat a regular amount.. basically they put way less meat/protein than chipotle. for my fellow gym & chipotle heads. for perspective. I’m done.

Food used to be more tasty, my chicken teriyaki was plain, tasted more like grilled chicken. Some pieces were burned. Very disappointed. Service very good. Next time order chicken teriyaki some where else.

The food is okay but, they screwed up my order and the guy in front of me. It's like they don't want to be there and didn't listen to me and another customer.

It's been a while since I had some Japanese food I got fried rice and teriyaki chicken, when I got I searching around the fridge and found some peanut gravysauce, spicy mustered, duck sauce, soy sauce, and hot sauce the best thing I ever did all the flavors blend well.
