About Burmese Bites

Burmese Bites offers a diverse menu, including the Keema palata (quesadilla with chicken and onions) and the nan gyi thoke (udon salad). The tea leaf salad is saltier than expected, but the shave ice dessert is better than the rice drink. The restaurant also provides vegan and vegetarian options such as tofu bites with a sweet chili sauce, which are very delicious and offer great value. Customers praise the Drum Pot (Rice Dish) as similar to what they grew up with in Burma, and the overall service is very good, with the owner being helpful and accommodating. The food is authentic and flavorful, and the establishment is family-owned. Its affordable prices and generous portions make it a top choice among local options. The pop-up at the office cafe and the Queens Night Market highlight the restaurant’s incredible tasting Burmese dishes, like the hearty Ohno Kaukswe, which is a personal favorite.
