Really good food. The flavours might be a bit strong for some people but its delicious. Faluda was delicious too. I wish I could have tried shaved ice tho. They were out when I went there.

I always order a keema palata because it’s been my favorite dish since visiting the Burmese Bites stall at Queens Night Market in Corona. The way it’s made is fascinating to see. The dough is spread out very thinly and placed on a cooking surface where it is then topped with a minced chicken filling. It’s very similar to mughlai paratha in Bangladeshi cuisine but has a difference touch of flavor. The finished product tastes great with the cucumber yogurt sauce. My only issue I is with the oily texture which can sometimes overpower the flavor and quality of the dish. Other than that the keema palata is a hit and all the items on the menu are halal.

Good food. I recommend the Nan Gyi Thoke (noodle salad) or the Dum Pot (chicken biryani) if you want something familiar.

Burmese Bites was a food cart in Long Island City that I had first heard about a couple years ago. I recently heard they had opened a stall in the Queens Center Mall food court, which was my chance to finally give them a try. This was actually my second time ever eating at a Burmese place. I had tried a tea leaf salad in the past and thought it was just okay. This place also serves that dish if you are looking for a more uniquely Burmese dish. This time I got to try the Burmese mango salad here. It had a slightly spicy and tangy taste to it that was interesting but was just so-so as well.Looking at their menu, it is apparent that Burmese cuisine is heavily influenced by Indian food as well as Chinese and Thai food. One of the main offerings on the menu is palata. This item is similar to a roti pancake with your choice of meat or vegetables on it. I definitely recommend this savory item. They also offer kaukswe (yellow curry with rice noodles) with your choice of meat or vegetables. The same type of curry is available with rice instead as well. The curry was not spicy at all but I still found it very tasty.Burmese Bites actually has a slightly limited menu, being a food truck turned food court stall. Their main focus is the palata and curry with rice or noodles. However, it is still well worth a try.

Delicious noodles (and legit spicy). Very nice and fast service as well. Recommend checking out if you’re at Queens Center mall. Way better than the chain options at the food court.

This was my first time trying Burmese food. Wow. It was a game changer. We were at Japan Fest and were in line for the other popular items. This stall was a hidden gem. I ordered the Nan Gyi Kaukswe Thoke aka Burmese Udon Noodle Salad. We claimed this dish to be the best dish we tried in the whole food festival.Staff are genuinely kind and excited for you to try a piece of their culture. I really wish I lived close enough to order again!

မင်္ဂလာပါ ! I’ve had the palata here and it’s decent, but why the hell is it closed on Sunday, the one day per week that I can come here and eat?
