“First I’ll start by saying I lay in bed at night and think about the giant pretzels. If they are ever taken off the menu I will be devastated. I’m so glad this bar/restaurant is now a staple in our community, in a building refurbished. I grew up in Elmira, moved away for 20 years and just moved back and luckily live right up the road. When anyone asks for a place for lunch or dinner this is my suggestion. In addition to the good food and atmosphere, for my place of work, I worked with Barb recently - planning a small business event and she was incredible to work with. Our event turned out so nice, the food was delicious, the bartenders we had went above and beyond taking care of us that evening - so much that we are planning another small event in January. I highly recommend Ill Eagle for lunch, dinner or special events. And special thanks to Barb for being so great to work with on those special events. ✨“

“Recommend trying their brunch, from the chicken and waffles to the eggs Benedict you will not be disappointed, even us non-breakfast people have opinions.
The mimosas are must have including the peach flavored. While mimosas isn’t my first choice, they were so good. I will be back for a Blood Mary.
I can’t commend the wait staff and bar service enough. There was a mishap with a tray of drinks and the staff handled it so well. I know first hand how awful such mishaps feel and you never know how the customer will react. You may want to market a new peach mimosas body spray, it does smell amazing. The staff and customers handled this situation with grace.“

“Bacon jam burger was one of the best burgers I’ve had. Great food. Wish you got more fries for price but flavor is there. Definitely would eat here again. 🙏🙏“
