Hands down the best, most flavorful, and truly authentic Mexican food anywhere around. The meats were extremely flavorful and very well done! Everything we ordered (quesabirria, beef taquito, pork tamale) was the best I have ever had, I don’t just mean in Elmira, I mean ever! I am thrilled to have found this gem only minutes from my work! And they open at 11 for lunch which I adore!
Chiltepin has the best Mexican food and the best staff! They get to know you and make your experience there very enjoyable with off the charts best customer service. They all work so hard there making the tortillas fresh daily. They even know us by name there and greet us with a smiling face every time. This is by far my favorite place to go to as a regular ❤️

Spacious and clean with great, fast, and friendly service. Very reasonable prices, especially considering that this is the closest to authentic Mexican food I have seen come through the Elmira area. Would definitely recommend. Give them a try and your support!

The Birria tacos are amazing
I tried this place once with friends, their suggestion. I could not believe how small my taco was. My quesadilla only had a thin amount of content in the middle and at least 2-3 inches of the edge were nothing but the shell folded together. When the waitress came to our table and asked how everything was, I gave her the opportunity to do something, anything, as this were my first impression of them. She blew it by doing nothing and I won't be back again. Fortunately we have some really great Mexican restaurants like Los Pancho's, Garcia's, and Salsa's. I suggest any one of those places over this. I don't think they'll last long in this tough economy.
