Service was poor, servers behind the bar knew nothing about the alcohol they had or didn’t have. Didn’t know how to make a Black Russian or offer to try.
Told I needed to leave a card to order drinks. Had to ask for the bill, never got one, she just rang up costs on the register and told me our bill was $106.00 which we paid in cash . I got the Mediterranean flatbread and it was on the money. My wife got the pulled pork without the peppers and toppings and she absolutely loved it. Spot on. And we sat upstairs outdoors and it was a beautiful evening.
First I’ll start by saying I lay in bed at night and think about the giant pretzels. If they are ever taken off the menu I will be devastated.
I’m so glad this bar/restaurant is now a staple in our community, in a building refurbished. I grew up in Elmira, moved away for 20 years and just moved back and luckily live right up the road. When anyone asks for a place for lunch or dinner this is my suggestion.
