The Southside Sub Shop has been a family favorite since childhood. On our last trip I was rather disappointed. I felt as if I had ordered a bread and lettuce sub. Portions were NOT what they used to be. Prices have gone up (but what HASN'T). Well, I decided to give the Sub Shop another chance. This time we ordered doubled meat. It was the sub I remembered from long ago! Although you shouldn't have to pay extra just to receive what was once the norm, I definitely recommend...
I originally posted a negative review a few years ago. I deleted it. I did have a negative experience but they have certainly redeemed themselves. I order from here almost every other week and the staff knows me by name now.. Their Rueben is phenomenal and my kids love the cheese fries and chicken strips.Staff is awesome and friendly. I always leave there with a smile and come home to eat great food.
Go here often. 1st time ever I was disappointed. My sub was not made as I had requested. MY husband's sub, all the ingredients slid out of the sub and he tried to put it back together to ear.
