Like so many people in the Twin Tiers this is our pizza. I grew up with the Sayre shop and living in Elmira it's always top of my list. Pudgie's is sort of its own thing not Sicilian nor is it a Neapolitan but a secret 3rd option many of us love.
For a slice of pizza it was over $4 and it was half the size of what we used to get. We can't afford to even treat our family for a pizza with just one side of a topping only on half of the pizza as it was $28. For the working middle class families, it's pretty sad that we can't afford a monthly pizza! Their greed is unfair to the loyal customers that made them wealthy.

Grabbed a party pack to share with the "moving crew". Everyone loved the pizza, 1/2 sheet bacon & 1/2 pepperoni + meatsauce. Medium Wings good too, but would've like a better drummie ratio. Staff gave us plenty of plates, napkins & cups since everything was packed!! It powered us through the day & night!!
