RaaSa Indian Cuisine Reviews
Yellow lentils with rice was great.
I love ❤️ Indian food and I found this really nice venue in Elmsford, NY called Raasa Indian Cuisine. I started my meal off with Samosa - Spiced Potatoes, Peas, Cumin, Ginger, Coriander and Mango Powder in a Turnover. Then for the main course I had the Lamb Gassi - Coconut Milk Sauce, Red Chili, Curry Leaves, Mustard Seeds along with Rice. For my drink I had an exciting Mango Lassi. It was really good and my whole dinner was slamming!!!!!! 😎 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 - #Raasa

RaaSa Indian Cuisine in Elmsford offers exceptional service and delicious Indian food. The shrimp gassi is a standout dish, beautifully done. The buffet on Sundays features tasty items like plain nan and fish paneer. The curry is less spicy, catering to American taste buds. The restaurant is a hidden gem in an unassuming location, with a clean and cozy atmosphere that is elegant. Customers praise the food for its consistent quality, mentioning favorites such as tikka masala, tandoori shrimp, goat curry, and aloo gobi, which has quite a kick. Weekend buffets can get busy, but weekday lunches and dinners are usually quiet. The staff is attentive and friendly, making it a great place to enjoy authentic Indian cuisine in uptown NY. Recent reviews highlight that the portions are generous, and the food is always satisfying and delicious. The ambiance is great, and service is quick. The onion chilli naan is praised as perfect, and entrees like lamb shank, keema, and Punjabi goat are highly recommended for their flavor. Vegetarian options such as paneer tikka and channa saag are also well-liked, with paneer tikka being a personal favorite. The butter and garlic naans are both good, with butter naan noted for its thinner, softer texture. The lamb and chicken biryanis are flavorful and spicy, though not typical Hyderabadi style. Overall, RaaSa Indian Cuisine continues to impress with consistent quality and a welcoming atmosphere.
