“We always try to go to Tom Wahls when passing thru the Rochester area, even going out of our way a little we make a point to go atleast once or twice a year. I have been to a few other locations over the decades, and always found them clean, organized and a friendly staff. First time at this location did not quite live up to the standards of the others had set, but to be fair I think we just came at a bad time. It was loud and chaotic when we came in with several messy tables. The cashier seemed impatient with us and to not be paying attention as we kept having to repeat our order as he stared off to the side unsure we were heard (just 2 people getting a burger frie and drinks nothing crazy. My burger had an insane amount of mayo, not sure what happened there but it was almost a comical amount on both sides, easy to scrape some off and still enjoy the burger. My spouce really enjoyed his mushroom burger.

I do have to give them some credit as there was a group from a baseball team leaving as we parked and when we came in a dozen todlers with only two adults for supervision who didn't seem to have any control of them running around by the order counter and dineing room and that is clearly not the staffs fault and was probably very overwhelming for the staff also and it wouldn't be fair to judge under those circumstances, service industry can be unpredictable and overwhelming.

If your thinking of checking out this location know there may be loud messy kids there but its worth it because Wahls has really great unique burgers, the best creemy rootbeer and a fun retro vibe....and mabey order your mayo on the side. I wish there were a location closer to Buffalo.“

“Classic Five Guys - Just say "Cheeseburger all the way" add fresh Jalepenos. 😉 And a little Cajun fry to go with the peanut butter banana shake with whip cream on top. If you had the burgers too much the grilled cheese add can and tomato with mayo lettuce and pepper is da boom. Grilled veggies if you really want to live.
Or the alll beef hot dog that's bigger than your belly when you add a Chicago dawg salad on top.

When we returned we were greeted by the manager who offered his apologies for the mishap and offered to give us a free meal for our inconvenience. In summation: A problem resolved! “Five Guys always has good food. We grabbed a burgers and fries, and a shake to take back to the hotel room. We were there right before closing, so I'm not sure if that's why they gave us such a enormous amount of French fries, but they gave us about three large cups full in the bag. Far too much for us to eat, so we made the front desk clerk very happy and gave her a 3rd of them.
I haven't eaten at Five Guys in quite a while, but the burger was just as expected, the fries were good, as well the shake, but it was insanely expensive. Like $27 for one burger, a large fries, and a shake. It may be normal for five guys, but it was sticker shock for me.“
