“We were there to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. We arrived in time for happy hour and upon coaxing by my daughter we sat at the bar to avail ourselves of the specials. “This is by far the best plate in Rochester!! The garbage plate wrap is AMAZING! They also have a sauce called panther sauce that elevates the plate! The only suggestion I have is they need to figure out the phone situation. I feel like they unplug the phones on purpose so they don’t have to take more orders. This makes it hard when wanting to order ahead, we have to drive there and hope for the best when it comes to a wait time. Other then that I HIGHLY recommend!“

“Where do I start? I certainly wouldn't rest my business reputation on Pam, who looks like she's had one too many nights out at the local bowling alley. When someone (customer) verbally tells you (hostess & waitress) that they've always wanted to come here, wouldn't you want to go out of your way to wow them? Service- The waitress named Pam whom I would never trust with the sanctity of my business rushed us to ask us what we wanted after we just got our drinks. No big deal. Then when we ask her the difference between BBQ, Hawaiian and Gold sauces she had to go ask. I'm sorry you don't even know this as a waitress you have to ask? Strange I could understand if you were new but this lady obviously has worked here for quite some time. That's just waitress 101, and honestly is just plain sloppy business. Drinks- I order a specific hard cider she comes over and hands me a cider similar and says this is all I have in a very short and snotty tone, almost argumentative. Most waitresses would have given me the menu back to decide on a different choice. Orders - We give our orders she doesn't ask if we want fries or chips. I call her over to tell her what myself and another would like, she rolls her eyes as if shes in a hurry and god forbid we tell her, just very unenthusiastic. She atyempts to B line it out of our general area. I stop her and I asked her if she was in a hurry or too busy to help wait on us and maybe she'd like to not wait on us. After that we didn't hear from her until my children's food came out. After that our food came out and I had to flag down the bartender to get a refill. She came over 1 time after I asked her that. Only because I had to ask the bartender for a refill. I've had better service at a McDonalds. 30 mins later she passive aggressively offers to get me a new drink when you can clearly see I'm not even half done with my current drink. Yes, this was passive aggressively done and it was rude. Gives us our bill doesn't even say thank you for coming and hope you enjoyed. Upon leaving we observe her cleaning an outside table and literally dumping other people's drinks on the ground and hitting chairs and tables. (See picture) Multiple times she was barely coherent in her speech, many times she couldn't hear us as the music was too loud. The bathrooms are filthy with pubic hairs and piss all over the seat. I'm curious how this place runs when it's actually busy. The food was the only bright spot unfortunately for me service makes or breaks a place and I'll never be back.“

“Came from New Jersey for a 30th Surprise Birthday and The Rail did not disappoint! We were sat outside under the gazebo where food and drinks were served quickly as needed. There was a variety of appetizers including Wings, Fried Green Beans, Pretzel, and Mozz Sticks, which were all EXCELLENT; and a nice selection of yummy Beers to drink them down with. Jersey is tough competition for food and I actually considered ordering some Wings and Beans to take back for the road trip. Friendly Staff, Great Atmosphere, Excellent Food all wrapped up in a place I probably would've just driven by not even knowing ... Who knew?“

“A "neighborhood bar and grill" with much better food, drinks, and service. I've been there over a hundred times and love the consistency in the experience. The dining room is separate from the bar area if you want a quieter environment, but there are also tables in the bar area and outside. It's also great for take-out - the online ordering is a little flaky (hint: check out as guest and don't try to make an account) but you can always call your order in as well.

“It is my opinion that writing a review is a tricky thing to do! Often times, the tendency is to respond, based on an emotional experience,.. something that recently occurred, initial gut instinct, etc. Sometimes, that's good, ...honest, raw,.. but sometimes, that's not so good.

I'm glad I took my time in writing this review because I feel that the reader of this review will get a better understanding as to why I'm giving this establishment a 5-star rating, and hopefully help them during their next pizza purchase.

Some would argue that pizza is pizza,.. nothing too complicated to make. And while I would agree with this statement, I would also express my shock that some establishments manage to stay in business, based on a crappy product! At some 'other' pizza establishments,... one week, I'll have a phenomenal pizza experience, only to be utterly disappointed the next week, only to discover "Bob" wasn't working the day I had my less-than-stellar pie.

I recently lost my "Pizza Guy", and have spent the last 6 months in finding my replacement pizza establishment. I have tried all the pizza establishments in my immediate area, and even ventured out to a few select places. I've relied of other people's suggestions. Never quite finding a place to land at.

A few months ago, and on a whim, I decided to try Salvatores,.. I passed it every day I went to Weg's,.. so I figured I had nothing to lose! I've never been into 'corporate chain' type of places because I feel that they lack authenticity, and are simply massed produced.

Well, I have to say,... although that might be true for some chains,.. I do NOT think its true at Salvatores! This is what you can expect at Salvatores:
* Consistent, great tasting pizza with plenty of sauce/cheese/pepperoni.
* Professional and courteous staff,....service with a smile!
* Safe, clean, and family-oriented atmosphere!
* Weekly if not daily coupon specials.
* Affordable pricing!

In a world that is consistently Inconsistent, and changing, the last thing I need to deal with is inconsistency in my pizza! If you also enjoy some sort of consistency in life, ...then I highly recommend you give Salvatores a try!“

“Everything you hope to expect when you go out for lunch or dinner. A fun menu with lots of options, a friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Not your average nachos. Nice twist and definitely worth trying!

“Place was great we are from buffalo and went up for training camp! Bartender was amazing paid attention to detail and made sure we had everything we could ask for! Food and drinks were affordable! Definitely will be a new training camp staple for us!“
