“I ordered the foil-packet fish dinner for a Saturday lunch. It blew my mind when I saw the lady bartender skillfully unravel the foil (see video below) to expose the fish dish. The steam escaped the foil, clouding my surroundings. The fish was fresh and well-seasoned.I will be back to try more dishes.CASH ONLY ESTABLISHMENT!!!“
“This place has a very small parking lot of its own, but there's street parking available. The inside is spacious and has space for large tables, nice lighting, comfy chairs, and a huge bar. Servers were attentive but not hovering, brought out breadbaskets and water r8ght away. All the dishes we got were very good, and the portions were very generous. Some of the dishes were on what I'd normally consider serving trays. The seafood was cooked just right, the shrimp were large and cooked to a nice bite. The mussels were big and cooked to perfection and not shriveled up. The meat was nicely seasoned and cooked it to medium rare like I asked. They also recommended a bottle of wine which was pretty good, we had 2. Overall, this was a hit and we're definitely coming back.“
“This restaurant has been around for a long time in Farmingville NY, we live in the area but it's only in the last couple of years that we have eaten there, what a mistake of now having gone sooner. They have a bar area and a dining room that needs a little more atmosphere but the food is so delicious you forget about it and just enjoy what you have ordered. As soon as you sit, they bring nice crusty Portuguese bread and marinated olives, so yummy. I usually order pork and clams, my favorite, chunks of pork in a garlic sauce with the most incredulous fried cubes of potatoes, again yummy. My husband this time ordered spaghetti with beef stew, again lots of beef in a light tomato stew sauce. Portions are large, enough for two meals more at home. Sangria, red, full flavored red wine and lots of fruit. Check the menu and you will not regret going there. Service is professional and he let us take our time eating. Will definitely keep going.“
