“Had the bacalao fritters as an appetizer. They had small shards of bone in them. We each pulled bones out of our mouths. My friend ordered the cod named after restaurant. Had bones. No where in menu does it tell you that their plate is BONE IN. Made meal unpleasant.I had lamb chops. I must say they were thinnest lamb chops ever anywhere. Usually they’re 3 double chops in every place I’ve had them. Here they’re 4 single chops so thin you can’t get them medium rare as I ordered. I’d say go but ask lots of questions.“
“I can't understand how I hadn't been to this restaurant in all the years it's been open. Fantastic food combined with wonderful service in a very enjoyable venue make for a fantastic experience. Among my favorites are the Cognac Shrimp (one of the best marinades ever), Stuffed Veal Chop (Fred Flintstone would be envious), Chorizo and Octopus (2 separate appetizers) both moist and as flavorful as any I've had. I look forward to coming to this restaurant for many, many years“
“I love anything that's Portugal. From Porto wine to porcelain tiles to bacalao to pulvo. And my favorite will be the wood fired charcoal bbq. From the moment you park your car in the parking lot, you smell the wood fired rodizio. That's heavenly.This is not a fancy restaurant. Not at all. They use ingredients and dinnerwares straight from the Restaurant Depot warehouse. But who cares? They perfectly pair well with the wood fired rodizio. This kind of restaurant reminds me of small & independently owned eatery on the hills of Lisbon and Porto. And most importantly, they are mass producing my favorite piri piri oil in a jar.I haven't been to this restaurant since I moved to NJ (and FL) and I miss them quite a lot. No, Fogo de Chao (while excellent on their own) is not the same.“
“I ordered the rodizhio and the very first round of meat served was great later the second round wasn't great as the first round, the meat wasn't cooked properly, some of them was medium rare and others was really rarely cooked, I didn't asked for that I told them my meat i want it cooked done, but I give to try and gave me stomach ache, MY RECOMMENDATION TO EVERYONE TO BE VERY SPECIFIC AND KEEP REMAINING THE SERVER HOW YOU LIKE COOKED YOUR RODIZHIO. that why I give 4 stars on food.Parking: Great places because always a guy walking around making sure nobody break into your vehicle.“
“I went over the weekend to this restaurant following my sister's suggestion. I want to said that she was 100% correct when she claimed that the chicken was the best she had ever had. After trying I can also attest to it, the chicken coupled with crisp veggies and flavorful rice was a good choice. We also tried the sangria and it was pretty good as well.I am planning to come back soon as there are other dishes that I would like to try.At last, the staff was super friendly and willing to please....Kudos to this new neighborhood restaurant!“
“This restaurant is the greatest. The owner and he husband are extremely nice and their food is excellent. Our 2 year old always enjoys the food herself. They have an extensive menu and the dishes are made fresh after you order. The appetizers such as the baby octopus and shrimp wrapped in bacon are on another level. The picaña is also amazing. Most people who are there are regulars. Very relaxing atmosphere as well.“

“My team member and I visited Chickys this past Sat for a tasting as we are organizing a large BBQ. We met with owner Asad who is a true professional and friendly guy. We tried multiple items including chicken sandwich, chicken and fries, BBQ chicken and rice and Mac and cheese and everything was Super fresh and absolutely delicious. I took the leftovers home and my family also said the food is super tasty. We are really looking forward to our guests enjoying this delicious food at our picnic.“

“I had lunch here today and it was really good! I got the grilled chicken with yellow rice and sweet plantains and two chicken and cheese empanadas.The grilled chicken and rice were good. The sweet plaintains were’t really very sweet how I like them but they were pretty good. The chicken empanadas were good and cheesy but I wish they had beef and cheese instead.Overall this is a pretty good lunch spot, and considering the area not too unreasonably priced. I would definitely go back here again.Parking: There is no parking lot. You have to park in the street.Kid-friendliness: You could definitely bring kids and your family there with no issues.“
“Very convenient location and fast service. The older gentleman at the counter taking our orders was super nice which helped us be patient while he struggled to put in our orders. The food was fantastic all around, I have absolutely zero complaints. It smelled so good in there (air freshener) I couldn't even smell the food cooking which made me nervous but I had nothing to worry about because it ended up being great. I especially loved the cinnamon on the grilled pineapple. The rice bowl was well balanced and seasoned to perfection. I could continue to rave about this place but you can just try it for yourself. P.S my friend said her left overs of the rice bowl was a bit greasy so I recommend eating everything fresh although that may be hard because it's a hefty serving of food.“
“Recommended by friends so we came here for a special occasion dinner. Very easy to make a reservation online or over the phone. Plenty of seating options for groups or couples. Loved the decor and feel of the restaurant- romantic with dimmed lighting but also good for families and kids. Very cozy feel. The waitstaff is great- very kind and patient, you never feel rushed but always taken care of. Another thing we loved is food really is made to order, came out piping hot. For appetizers we tried the wings and sauteed clams, both delicious and fresh. White sangria was the best we’ve tried. Our table ordered the cowboy steak, lamb chops, grilled baby back ribs and there was a seafood special. The portions paired with the sides are really generous. We were stuffed and had food to take home. We asked when making our reservation if we could bring a small cake for the occasion and the hostess said it was not a problem, our waitress was so kind and offered to refrigerate it for us if needed. Once it was ready to serve brought out plates and utensils for us. Next time we definitely want to try the desserts offered, neighboring tables ordered and it looked amazing. Overall we really loved our experience here, food is great but the staff really makes it top of the line. Looking forward to visit again soon with more friends“

“This is an excellent restaurant serving Portuguese food. We have enjoyed many of their offerings with family and friends. Paella is our favorite and we typically share a salad and a paella as this allows us to enjoy the variety and to avoid waste. We were somewhat put off by the server informing us that there was now a $10 sharing charge. Note that this was not on the menu. He did say that the paella would be a larger serving to compensate. There was an increase in the serving but this meant that there would be waste or the need to bring home leftovers which is not always convenient. We will probably go back but next time we will only have the paella and nothing additional.“

We paired our meals with a glass of Portuguese red and white wine.The attentive service by Mauricio, our waiter, truly stood out. When I praised the white wine without knowing its name, Mauricio went the extra mile, bringing an empty bottle for us to photograph. He also thoughtfully changed the TV channel from loud soccer to horse riding, enhancing our dining experience. Mauricio’s timely and polite check-ins added to the overall positive impression.The food itself was exceptional, and we chose to forgo dessert.
