Literally Bert’s makes the BEST home made Italian cookies I have eaten…and I’ve had alot lol. Their prices are always reasonable and I love supporting local businesses. I will be getting these treats every year for Christmas ♥️
Charming small craft bakery tucked away on a little side street. Cute cozy dining area. Amazing breads and treats! Excellent coffee! The owners Bert and Diane make everything right there and provide exceptional service. There's always something warm from the oven on the counter! If you love artisan breads you won't be able to leave without buying at least one loaf! Bert's is a must-visit when I'm in the Fishkill area!

Amazing food and service!! A family owned place , that’s lesser known ,and just off main street in fishkill, I love this place for breakfast and their excellent wine menu. Bert and Diane ( husband and wife) are An amazing team and I always get the vibe that I’m simply stopping by a family members house for a meal.

Define of the best croissants in the area !!!! They took their time to make my egg and cheese on a croissant and it was well worth the wait. I’d recommend you call ahead to place your order.

Finally stopped in Bert’s Hideaway, so thrilled to have found this delicious hidden gem of a place! I’ll be back! Fresh, delicious food, welcoming atmosphere, homemade bread/food, and owned by a very nice couple.
Had the frech toast crepes and egg sandwich on pretzel bun. Very fresh tasty food. Excellent coffee. Will be back again.

Picked up 3 giant pretzels this morning, but must pre-order to insure you get on of the fresh made delights. I got the cheese dip and requested jalapeños. They were still warm from the oven at the requested time. Moist and tender. Just off the main street, a nice local gem. Stop in and say Hi to Bert, his wife and staff. Food is made to order, so order ahead or sit and enjoy a beverage while the food is hand made in the back from scratch.

We stopped here for sandwiches after our hike. They had me at homemade pretzel bagels. The Italian sandwich was delicious as well. We went back in to bring home a box of cookies and pastries. Very friendly and welcoming service, quality and fresh ingredients. Can’t wait to come back!

Messaged them on Facebook to ask about their pretzels, they got back to me quickly. I showed up this morning to a quaint bakery with tables and an amazing selection of cookies, pastries, and bread products and hot meals. The pretzels are HUGE and worth every penny! I left with 2 pretzels, a bag of dinner rolls, an everything pretzel bagel, and rainbow cookies. Safe to say we've tried it all today and are loving ALL of it! Great place, amazing food!!!
