“We drove from fishkill after my mom’s chemo treatment in pok … we haven’t been here in a while because it is a drive but we were in pok and we were in the mood for different. We were very happy with the food everything was great we just weren’t happy with the service, we had to ask multiple times for Splenda, the waitress spilled the milk and I used my napkins, she never gave us extra (she had them in her apron) I had to call her over for some then she was taking the finished plates and dropped the butter knife on my mothers foot and never apologized and seen it fall and looked under the table . not sure if the waitress was a bit off her game but we decided to enjoy the food.“

“If you neef something quick to eat, Wendy's is usually the only fast food joint I go to. I love their spicy chicken sandwich, which looks and tastes like real chicken....but this is one location I've never received the wrong order, or the food seems stale, or anything else like that. It's right off I-84 on the eastbound side next to Perkins and near the car wash which is hard to find even though you can see it from the highway. Anyways, if you like Wendy's, I'd add this location as a 'good' or safe to know, you'll get what you ordered, and it has so far always been fresh.“

“This is a perfect example of don't judge a book by it's cover.!! I was persuaded to partake as a group order for work and was very pleasantly surprised. Downside is they have limited lunchtime hours and honestly, had no idea what this place was, when driving by. I will certainly have to go by for lunch so I can give a full review, but if you're local, it's lunchtime, and you want a quality sandwich or burger, with what seemed to be homemade potato salad, this is a go to spot.“

“We were looking for a new place to have lunch that wasn't the typical fast food. This place was perfect. Tons of different options for food. I had the crispy chicken sandwich. I really. Enjoyed the retro sauce and coleslaw on it. The portion was large and the price was good. It did take a little bit to be done but everything is made to order so it was hot. The tots were fantastic, super crispy and delicious. Each table has two controllers hooked up to a large choice of old school games to play while you wait. The inside is decorated in old images and consoles bringing back many good memories. Definitely a good place to stop by and grab something to eat.“

“I got the Lamb over rice and let me tell you, this was delicious! Rice was cooked perfectly. The lamb was tender and seasoned well. Portions were enough for one person and maybe some leftovers. I think I spent around $15 total for the lamb over rice. I heard their chicken is moist and delicious. They’re located right on broadway in Newburgh. Depending on the time of day you might see a few unsavory people out front, but nothing too bad. The area isn’t crazy bad. Parking is typical for what you’d expect off a main strip. Make sure you pay the meter!!! They do check. The wait time for my food was maybe 8 minutes. I’m definitely going to try more items off the menu when I go back. There is very limited seating btw. I think only a handful of chairs facing the front window if I’m correct, so don’t plan on eating inside. Overall good food.“

“Indulging in a bit of nostalgia l, as this was one of my family's favorite stops with us kids at the time in the 1960s-70s. Back then, it was a typical DQ with a walk-up window. Now, like everything else, it's modernized.

I did the drive-thru and ordered a chocolate dip top cone. The car in front of me must have had a more formidable order because I waited behind him for over 10 minutes.

The cone was good, but maybe my expectations were a bit high. The service was good too. But it just lacked the fun of standing outside on line for an ice cream treat on a hot summer night. I guess both DQ and I are not kids anymore.“

“I took my kids here last week. My order was taken and the young lady lost track of us multiple times. As I was not in a hurry, I didn’t notice. After a series of forgetting our drinks, not calling us when our food was ready and not putting a cookie tote order in (which takes a while), a young man by the name of Jahsheem came to my table and apologized for everything that had transpired He was polite, friendly and respectful but above all, he was intuitive and and noticed what was going on around him. He gave me a $10 Giftcard for a future visit. I did not complain nor did I make any gesture to let anyone know I was upset. This young man took it upon himself to make sure their mistakes did not go unnoticed. I was so impressed. He is a credit to his team!!“
