“One of my favorite halal spots in queens. Food and service is impeccable. Even though I got a salad platter they still threw in some rice so you won’t go hungry. Chicken and lamb are amazing. Perfect amount of char and still tender. They also usually give out a free sample of falafel which is cooked and seasoned perfectly. They also cook it in an oval shape so it’s a bit more crispy as opposed to the circle ones. Must try and always get extra white sauce and hot sauce. Food is hot, fresh and comes out quickly“

“Have my regular halal spots but decided to give this place a try on a whim last night. Ordered mix combo over rice with white sauce and green sauce. Pretty tasty, good portion, good prices. Shoutout to the chef, they’re cooking with care.

Zaki is also very friendly and I watched him even come around the counter to open the door for one his customers leaving with a scooter. Good owner mindset and customer service, puts him and his shop a cut above a lot of other spots. Place is also clean with seating to eat. Recommended.“

“it was amazing!! The proportions of the chicken and rice were in large amounts. The chicken was cooked well and the rice was soft. The salad on the side was very fresh. Overall I recommend this place for kids and adults. The spice levels canbe altered by asking for little hot sauce and more white sauce. “I stopped by “That No Good Burger Joint” for lunch yesterday and extremely surprised at the customer service and the menu filled with options. I ordered a triple smash cheeseburger with the fries and washed it all down with 2 flat tires. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friend and family and would plan to go back soon. The burger was cooked to perfection and the fries were just right. The server was extremely attentive and made sure my and my cousin were well taken care. I would give this restaurant a 10/10 no question.“

“Really good, the spices and seasoning are strong enough and it’s like $2 a skewer with so many options. I always get the lamb, the potatoes (which taste like seasoned chips), and other meats. The fish balls are soft on the inside, with a roasted crust on the outside - actually good too! It’s also spicy too, but not too spicy (probably like pickled jalapeño level?)“

Service is excellent too, everyone is friendly and happy to help set up tables or rearrange chairs for families when needed. Casual outdoor seating gives the place a fun street food vibe. While it’s a bit farther from the Main St, Roosevelt Ave and Prince St area, we always make the walk because their food is worth it. “It was my first time trying Empanada Queen, a food truck in Baldwin, and overall, it was a decent experience. They had a deal for 10 empanadas for $28, so I decided to try a variety. I went with shrimp, beef, chicken, and mac and cheese empanadas. The flavors were all pretty tasty, with the shrimp, beef, and chicken being the standouts. However, I wasn’t a fan of the mac and cheese one—it just didn’t have the right texture or flavor I was expecting.

The wait time was short, which was a nice surprise, especially since it was freezing outside! I was glad to have the car to wait in while the food was being prepared.

One thing to note is that the outer shell of the empanadas was quite hard, which made them a bit tough to bite into. On the positive side, the fillings themselves were flavorful. The only other downside was that they only offer one sauce, which had a bit of spice to it. While I didn’t mind it, I wish there were a few more sauce options to choose from.

“My favorite taco spot in all of New York. Their lengua tacos are absolutely insane. I love that they’re open past midnight. The hot sauce is HOT! Parking in this area can be annoying but I’m usually walking here so that hasn’t been a problem for me.“
