Please tell me they didn't change the Koenigs Rye recipe! Or maybe just a bad batch...took home a half loaf of rye with seeds and the next morning was so looking forward to it toasted with scrambled eggs. I opened the bag and got a strong odor like maybe old malt or artificial rye flavoring...I couldn't pin point it...and the bread seemed browner than I remember two St Patrick's Day ago when I couldnt keep family away from loaf before the corned beef was done.
