I live nearby for quite some years but never try the deli.I went with in for the first time a week ago around 10a thinking of getting a big full breakfast, but they don’t seem to have anything. They have few bagels left. I was disappointed. Did they change owners? Is it because of the pandemic?

I've lived across the street for over 35 years. This used to be a great spot growing up. But since they changed owners ~15 years ago or so, the place has gone to complete crap. The service is nasty. They only accept cash and will yell at you if you make the mistake of pulling out your credit card. The shelves/racks are barely stocked. It looks deserted and barren. Not too sure why anyone goes anymore. Used to be a great spot to grab breakfast or a sandwich to go while waiting for the Q27 bus back in the day - but no way I'll ever go back.

I got a bacon egg and cheese and a cuppa coffee for just under six dollars. The sandwich was not the best I ever had but it was pretty freaking good. Coffee could've been a little hotter. It's deli coffee nothing fancy. I was more than pleased with what I got and what I paid for it. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly and accommodating. Offered to top off my coffee twice. The place is a little old I could probably use a facelift but it was not dirty. This is a no-frills deli with counter seating and one table. If you're looking for anything more than that go somewhere else.
Terrible FOOD and SERVICE after the owner/workers changed to Chinese. They are disrespectful to other races than Chinese. Rudest people working and DIRTY kitchen. If you hate being mistreated, definitely avoid this place. I see the business going down totally! Hate the people's attitude
