Got the 3 chicken skewer with rice salad and bread. This did not disappoint. The amount of food you get for $13 is amazing. The prices and portion of food is amazing. The spices and flavor is beyond good. There’s no words to describe how good this food is. I truly do recommend this place.

I've been coming to Bakhter for over 20 years now, to the point where a family visit to this location for dinner is now a monthly occasion for us. The community knows of this place and it's a favorite local spot for many people all over. The store is owned by a friendly hospitable man from Afghanistan, and his staff which at times can be over burdened with a dinner rush, are quite capable and understanding. I always have the #6, and my father always has the #6 with Quabli...

This was the original Afghani Kabab restaurant in Queens. I have eaten here over the years and the food is always the same, good but not great. The best are their koftas because the kababs can be a bit dry. They do have white and green sauce although if you don’t like vinegar, stay away from the green. The white sauce is more runny than other places but it is an original taste.
