Bistro New York is a great place for family-style meals and gatherings, with large round tables that accommodate big groups. The restaurant features live seafood in big fish tanks, and their famous king crab is a popular choice at $40 per pound. The lobster special is a daily offering, but customers must order at least one dish from the menu to get the special lobster price. The restaurant offers two free sauces - ginger scallion and salt & pepper. While the lobster is reported to be big and juicy, the lamb and beancurd skin casserole was a bit bland, and the mix BBQ with crispy pork belly and duck was not as good, with the pork being very dry. The service, however, is attentive, with waiters refilling water and changing plates. Overall, Bistro New York is an extraordinary Cantonese restaurant with delicious food and a fancy, beautiful atmosphere.
