I was craving something sweet, and on the way to the LIRR, I saw a pastry shop, so decided to come in. Rita is so sweet - the establishment is cash only and I didn't happen to have enough cash on me, but she happily let me pay with what I had and I could pay her back later.
She recommended the almond croissant, so I went with that and it was delicious! It had a nice texture and wasn't excessively sweet.
I can't comment on the other pastries (yet!), but they all looked great too!

This is the best bakery in Forest Hills! A hidden gem, every item I have had has been a home run. Any of the shortbread cookies are absolutely perfect and the Cinnamon Roll is the best ever.

I got a chocolate mouse cake here for my boyfriend’s birthday and it was much more delicious and much higher quality than a similar item from the most popular bakery in town. We also got the apple pie and it’s outstanding—so fresh and perfectly sweetened. My boyfriend’s family has been buying pastries and cookies from here for many years. Makes sense!
