Really delicious yogurt smoothie šŸ˜‹

The mini cake was delicious. It had walnuts and red bean paste inside, and the big chunk of butter made it so satisfying. It would go perfectly with coffee. Definitely something would repurchase. Also tried their taiyaki. It looked a bit messy, but the crust was amazing. Super crispy and flaky, kind of like a croissant, not the usual soft sponge cake texture. Not bad.

So…. I don’t want to make the kid working at the register sound bad but… I really think the way they handle seating should be changed. Came today on Mother’s Day. Place is packed. So I asked the guy at the front. Are there any tables… he said no. So I waited for a table to clear up before ordering. One of the table closest to the door started packing and throwing out the trash. And I asked is that table available for me and my son. He said yes. So I ordered there and then. As I order. Apparently another group came in and sat down right away. Just when I’m about to pay. The guy looks and at me and says ā€œsorry ur table looks like it’s been takenā€ ummm…. What….? I literally asked so they can just come in and sit down and occupied the seats while I asked u if the table is available for me and not too mention I just ordered my food and bout to pay?? While they haven’t order anything yet all of a sudden the table belongs to them now?? How does that even make sense.

The mochi taiyaki is next level! So unique that the breading is like croissants. Definitely going back to try other flavors and I wanna get the mochi waffles next time! 10/10

Came for bingsoo and went with the mango one. Overall, just a very fine dessert. It seems like it would be appealing because the portion was huge, but we ended up eating maybe half of it. The mango wasn't super appealing (not sure if its freshness) and the cream overall was just not something we felt like we needed to eat much of. The seating area is fine, fairly small but not intimidatingly so.

Love their strawberry bingsoo, americano, Nutella taiyaki and walnut pastry with butter.

We had the shaved ice and the red bean Taiyaki and they were both excellent! The staff were friendly and the seating were nice and clean. Highly recommended!

Love the shaved snow here. Very refreshing. The bingsu melts slower because they are put in metal bowls.

I've tried the Yogurt Berry Bingsu and Oreo Bingsu. I wouldn't recommend the Oreo one. It was disappointing compared to the Yogurt Berry bingsu, which had different textures and flavors from the berries and mochi. The frozen chocolate chips in the Oreo bingsu were too hard and ruined the taste and texture.

I love cocohodo. This place is wonderful for post-dinner dessert. They have so many options of drinks, shaved ice, pastries, and more. I love coming here with friends and getting a pastry and shaved ice. The portions are big for the shaved ice so recommend sharing with 3-4 people.

Food:
Original Shaved Ice. Super yummy and love the texture of the nuts, mochi, and shaved ice.

Ordered sesame shaved ice. Which was 4 cups of shaved ice with a thin layer of black sesame powder, small dollop of red bean paste and some mochi for $17.50. it's way overpriced for a few cups of water and sesame powder from a pouch you can get for a dollar. The mango extra was also outrageous for $3.50...it was 2 tablespoons of mango. Definitely do not recommend!! Other extras vanilla ice cream ($1.5) and condensed milk ($1.5), were needless to say overpriced as well.
