Food was excellent and a great value. The dim sum items we had were all hand made --- amazing for the low all you can eat price on a Friday evening.

Today I had a very bad experience at Daoxiang Dim Sum Restaurant. After the meal, I asked to pack the remaining food, but was refused unreasonably. The clerk claimed that the menu stated that takeout was not allowed for dine-in meals. Excuse me, why can’t I take away the food I paid for? What kind of ridiculous rule is this?
What's even more irritating is that when I questioned this unreasonable rule, the clerk responded with a bad attitude: "If you order a lot of things, do I have to pack them all for you?" What kind of service attitude is this? Shouldn’t you be happy when customers order more dishes? Are customers still being humiliated by you if they order too much? Even if I offered to use my own lunch box, you refused rudely. This approach is simply unacceptable!
If you are worried that refusing to package is to prevent others from learning your "exclusive secret recipe", you are really being conceited! Your dishes are simply not delicious enough to deserve imitation! I will not hesitate to tell everyone around me to stay away from Daoxiang Dim Sum Shop to avoid suffering the same humiliation and bad experience!
Stores like yours should close down as soon as possible. Yours should be the only store in the United States that still carries the overlord clause. Will you refund me the leftovers? Or should you take back the leftovers and sell them?
As a consumer, I have the right to take away the food I paid for. Daoxiang Dim Sum Shop not only unreasonably deprives them of this basic right, but also treats customers with an extremely arrogant and rude attitude. If you want to be in business for a long time, you should first reflect on your service attitude and ridiculous rules, instead of driving away customers in this way!
This experience made me completely disappointed and angry with Daoxiang Dim Sum Shop! I will never step foot in your store again, nor will I recommend anyone to patronize it!
Today, I had an extremely disappointing experience at Dim Sum Garden. After dining, I requested to take my leftover food home, but was unreasonably denied. The staff claimed that the menu specifies no takeout for dine-in customers. I paid for my meal ; why am I not allowed to take the remaining food with me? This is an absurd policy.
When I questioned this unreasonable rule, the staff responded rudely, saying, “If you order so much, do you expect me to pack it all for you?” What kind of service attitude is this? Shouldn't you be happy when customers order more? Why insult customers for ordering more? Even when I offered to use my own container for takeout, they bluntly refused. This behavior is simply unacceptable!
If you're worried that refusing takeout is to prevent others from copying your “secret recipes,” that's overestimating yourselves! Your food isn't good enough to be worth imitating! I will not hesitate to tell everyone around me to stay away from Dim Sum Garden to avoid the same humiliation and terrible experience!
A restaurant like yours should go out of business as soon as possible. In the entire U.S., only your restaurant has such unreasonable policies. Will you refund me for the leftover food? Or are you planning to resell the remaining dishes?
As a consumer, I have the right to take home the food I paid for. Dim Sum Garden not only unjustly deprives me of this basic right but also treats customers with extreme arrogance and rudeness. If you want your business to last, you should first reflect on your service attitude and absurd policies, rather than driving customers away in this manner!
This experience has left me thoroughly disappointed and angry with Dim Sum Garden! I will never set foot in your restaurant again and will not recommend anyone to visit! I hope you rectify this situation promptly, or you will only suffer the consequences.

I came here during a weekday for lunch and there were no problems getting seated. But I can see weekends being an issue with seating.
The food was pretty for the most part. With the sole exception of the beef balls. I tried a lot of the different dishes none of them were the best I've ever had, but none of them were inedible either except the beef balls. The beef balls were the worst I've ever had. It was absolutely disgusting, for the love of God, don't get the beef balls here.
Otherwise this is a really nice and affordable spot.

Great service. Food came out fast. No wait before 1130 but noticed around 12 there was a line. Dimsum on par with other restaurants in flushing. Good value as you get to sample dimsum dishes you normally would not try. Seating time limit is 90 min and 3 dollar for hot tea per table. All you can eat valid only on weekdays Monday to Friday.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. I decided to give it a try because a friend raved about it when it first opened, but it seems like the overall quality has dropped considerably since then. The food quality was subpar—it didn’t feel freshly made, more like frozen meals reheated and passed off as fresh. This was not what I expected, especially at the price point.
The seating arrangement is incredibly cramped. I had my jacket draped over the back of my chair, and when the busboy came by with a cart to collect dishes, he scraped it all over my jacket, leaving it dirty. He didn’t apologize or even try to warn me—it was careless and inconsiderate.
The service was atrociously slow. I had to repeatedly ask about my order at the 30, 40, and 50-minute marks, only to be met with an unbelievably rude response from the waitress: “We have to cook it, do you want to eat it raw?!” Such a condescending attitude left me speechless and frustrated.
To top it off, they only accept cash.
Overall, the experience was dreadful—poor food, terrible service. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The dimsum was mediocre, not worth the price, need to wait quite a long time for food to be served at your table. Never again.

The waiters like to take their sweet time in the back and yap. Most of the food is ok at best. I was worried about having to shit my pants by the end of my meal but thank god, I did not contract any food illnesses

The real rating is 3.5 stars. The service was alright but the food took a long time to arrive around like 20 mins for one or two dishes. The real hype for this place is not that good. Definitely not listening to hype for this place again. Could’ve been better. Most of the food were really salty and regularly need water to eat it.

Definitely got food poisoning!!! Not sure what it was… I was puking and shitting halfway into the night. Black Friday chaos maybe? When I shared about my shellfish allergies, they said, “if you have food allergies - don’t come here”.
Dietary restrictions: When I shared about my shellfish allergies, they said, if you have food allergies - don’t come here. That, and the “Grade Pending” sign hidden in the window, should have tipped me off.

This place didn't use to be AYCE.. after it became AYCE, the quality dropped significantly. The dim sum is horrible, service is bad and slow. We asked for more tea and the servers just ignored us. They gave us a lot of stuff we did not order. I don't know if they placed the wrong order or they gave us food that other people ordered.

The dim sum buffet exceeded our expectations! We ordered 19 dishes, while 17 were absolutely delicious, 2 were okay. The pricing is reasonable, and the food quality is excellent. The service was attentive. We’ll be returning with more family and friends!
