We ordered the small sashimi set with two bottles of soju, and it was a terrible experience. Right after the meal, we suffered from heartburn, nausea, hiccups, and indigestion. The food may have looked fine, but it made us feel very sick. Definitely not worth it, and I would not recommend this place.

update: it's sad to say but I have to give this place 1 star at this point. they used to be a 5 star place but have slowly gone downhill. my most recent visit the fish did not look fresh and the entire place reeked of old oil smell which was extremely unappetizing. the utensils ah felt sticky/grimy I don't think I would visit again
I really dislike how inconsistent this place is. my previous visit, they had pretty good cuts of tuna but during this visit the cuts weren't as good. visually they seem fine but believe me when I say they were way too chewy to be good cuts. maybe they replaced their sushi chef? iono
this place keeps flipping between 5 stars and 2 stars for me with each visit. it's such a roll of the dice
also the dessert is yogurt which is a little bit weird. almost prefer the juice from before more

Just had dinner at Dongwon & it blew away my expectations. We wanted to go for a light dinner but ironically, it was opposite of that. They give you an abundant amount of food which are all fresh and flavorful. Service is great! Very attentive staff. Highly recommend!!
