They are very racist towards Black people. The first time I went into this store the young guy that worked their seemed very agitated and told me to “hurry up” and they always use to ask me weird questions like “are you working” or “are you keeping busy” but they don’t ask other races of people those questions. One time I was also followed around the store, which was very weird. I’ve spoken to another black person in the neighborhood and they also told me randomly that they don’t feel comfortable at the store either. The workers constantly change their prices on the food they serve which is very suspicious. I’ve also tried the infamous chopped cheese sandwich and it wasn’t good at all. It was mid at best.

It's my local Bodega and they have a descent number of home, cooking, items, etc. There sandwiches are ok and I haven't had any problems so far. I usually buy my Hagen Dazs and Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream pints there.
The previous owners were very nice, but the store was lacking in-service post-pandemic. Previously the Latin buffet food was outstanding. Then those days waned away. Now it has new owners who are very friendly as well and a much more realized Deli offering all kinds of sandwiches and even some Indian food. The new owners have rearranged the entire interior and brightened the place up to make it much more inviting and appealing.
