Came for a solo lunch at 12pm. Was surprised at the $10 rice dish price. This place is definitely a hidden gem far from the hustle and bustle of Main st. Food is delicious. I'll be back next week for sure 👍
As someone from Hong Kong, I’ve tried many HK-style cafes in New York, and Fat Girl Kitchen has one of the closest flavors to what I grew up eating in Hong Kong. Their turnip cake is crispy on the outside, soft inside, and you can actually taste the radish texture — not overly powdery like some places.
