This restaurant is one of the few places in Flushing that I trust with consistent quality of food and amazing taste. All of the food here have such a homey taste and has not changed over the years. Shoutout to the chef/owner??

The salads were crisp and refreshing complement. The soups, a comforting highlight, added warmth to the dining experience. A good spot to dine with friends on a casual night. Super friendly servers who were attentive but not overbearing ? The steamed egg was *chef's kisses*

This is a nice spot for a chill night with friends. It's a very tiny place with about 4 tables. Food was great and service was great too.

Craft beers and seafood is so delicious together here in this cozy casual bar vibe joint. Specialty items noted on two blackboards with neon chalk showcase just a sampling of the unique specialties they offer. I was lucky to have the chance to try this place out with a foodie friend that's been here before so ordering was easy. We tried the appetizer tasting where it's a selection of appetizers marked with the asterisk on the menu. The best was the Tako wasabi, which is octopus and cucumber with a hint of wasabi and seaweed to roll it together. Also very good was the fried oysters. For our entrees, we each ordered a bento box. Chilean Sea Bass for him and Pork Belly for me. Both were excellent. Totally recommend the bento as it's filled with little goodies such as kimchi, pickled onions, rolled omelette and fried chicken. It's also the best value. Paired with our beers (Pilsner and a Korean Terra), so satisfying. Highly recommend this place for their service as well. Waitress was attentive and always smiling.

Craft beers and seafood are so delicious together here in this cozy casual bar vibe joint. Specialty items noted on the wall with two blackboards with neon chalk, showcase just a sampling of the unique specialties they offer. I was lucky to have the chance to try this place out with fellow Elite Yelper Mike S. He's been here before so ordering was easier with his suggestions.Happy to share the idea so you can try it for yourself. We started with the appetizer tasting where it's a selection of appetizers marked with the asterisk on the menu. To name a few items - the Karage (fried chicken), tots and fries, a refreshing salad with house dressing and mango. The best was the Tako wasabi, which is strips of raw octopus and slivered cucumber with a hint of wasabi, accompanied with seaweed so as to roll it together. Also very good were the fried oysters in a light egg batter. For our entrees, we each ordered a bento box. Chilean Sea Bass for him and grilled Pork Belly for me. Both were excellent and are great representations of what Gupji is all about - seafood and grilled meats. Totally recommend the bento boxes in general as it's filled with little goodies such as kimchi, pickled onions, rolled omelette and more fried chicken. It's also the best value if you want to taste more of their food. Paired with our beers (Pilsner and a Korean Terra), it was so satisfying. Highly recommend this place for their service as well. Waitress was attentive and always smiling. Super friendly.Go early to score a table, it's not a big space. Great for drinks and snacks if you want to eat lighter.

Nice Korean Izakaya right in the heart of Murray Hill. Food is good. Most flavors are light and fresh. Food also comes out fast. Vibe is chill and nice inside. Good place to order some wine or other drinks with good company and talk the night away Service is also very good. They also have a nice little alcove with 3 or 4 tables near the back of the restaurant that has a fire place.Ordered: 1. Taste of Gupji appetizer sampler. 2. Fish Roe soup. 3. okonomiyakiParking: Metered street parking is free after 7pm. This parking is found all within a few blocks of the restaurant.
