Gyro World Flushing Reviews
I have been a customer for over 7 years since they opened in Bayside. Ever since covid, they only have self service outdoor seating. Food was undercooked, gyro and loukaniko wasn't cooked (pink), gave us pita uncooked and uncut, they suggested I cut it with plastic utensils they provided. Poor staff and badly managed. Such a shame, always looked forward to their food and staff. Will never go or order again
Great place to eat great service, you won’t be disappointed 🥂
Food was ok, service was awful and the portions were so much smaller than in the past. and they ran out of chicken fingers (kid food)
won't be going back.

Gyro World Flushing offers authentic and flavorful Greek cuisine, reminiscent of the gyros found in Athens. The menu features popular items like the lamb/beef gyro sandwich with everything, gyro platter with rice, and lemon chicken soup. The gyro sandwiches are known for their generous meat filling, which remains a highlight despite recent price increases and smaller portion sizes. Customers praise the juicy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned meat wrapped in soft, fresh pita with just the right amount of veggies and tzatziki. Many visitors enjoy the fresh ingredients used in dishes like tirokafteri and spanakopita. The pork gyro meat is considered among the best in Queens. The restaurant has outdoor seating with tall windows that are left open on warm days, creating a relaxed atmosphere. Customers appreciate the warm environment, friendly and efficient staff, and the cleanliness of both the dining and prep areas. It is a reliable spot for gyro lovers and is especially convenient for quick pickups, with ordering by phone recommended to avoid busy wait times. The front of the restaurant is self-serve with signs instructing customers to order at the counter, while the back appears to have table service. Gyro World is a neighborhood gem, suitable for solo meals, family gatherings, or takeout. Overall, it’s a good place to enjoy affordable and tasty Greek food.
