Hansol is the best in terms of taste and cleanliness. It is a side dish restaurant you can trust.

Our family ordered catering from Hansol yesterday. The food was very delicious and well-prepared. The packaging was also very attentive so the food was fine after the drive to our destination. Thank you Hansol for taking very good care of us and the food was very delicious! Everyone enjoyed it very much! :)

The food is fantastic for Korean food for the week. We can buy soups and other premade food and eat it during the week. Saves so much money compared to eating out or delivery.

Rude… over charging when using credit card…. This review isn’t for their foods. Foods they sell are good so go for it if you want to try some banchans! Sadly they try to shame you for using credit card… as soon as you take out your card.. their face expressions and atmospheres change… why? Are you scamming tax?? Also they tell you that they will charge tax if paying with credit card then charges more than the tax… always charges more than the tax… what’s up with that? stop scamming and this place would be great….

The store is nicely set and there are lots of different kinds of banchans. But unfortunately, there was a strand of hair in my chicken dish. I lost my appetite right after seeing that. The ladies working there are extremely rude and not helpful. Not gonna go back.

Hansol is not a restaurant. It is a "ban-chan" store. It sells Korean premade meals, side dishes, kimchi, and some rice cakes and snacks. It also does catering. It is the go-to place for catering. I usually like their quality, but recently, I ordered Vietnamese rice rolls for catering. Some of the rolls were poorly wrapped and covering was already ripped.

I preferred the side dishes here than other places but I ended up finding a piece of curly hair, we are korean and have straight hair, it definitely wasn't ours. We called them and they gave us a replacement. If they didn't wear any, they should be wearing hairnets. Parents still buy from them but I'm forever offput by this gross encounter and don't want to eat from them anymore DX

This place is very solid Banchan and all the korean food catering place with many years of experience. There are Banchans that are really authentic and good. Some of their banchan are too authentic to make it right ( When it is authentic, it means it takes a long time to make it on your own. Of course, does it taste good after all the effort that is beyond the point.) My grandma used to make Dduk from the scratch weekly basis when I was young and it was really good. I grew up eating pasta and mostly non-Korean food, however, dduk is my soul food. Even if I have been eating non-Korean food last 20+ years, I am very picky when it comes to Korean food since I grew up eating real authentic Korean food made by my Grandma especially Kimchi, Namool, etc. This place makes solid dduk, namool, and banchan. Their Shik-Hae is the best in town. (My grandma used to make it with Yut-Gi-reum and their sik-hae taste very close to my grandma's.)

Prices went up significantly but overall good side dishes and rice cakes. Customer service can improve. Always ask for receipt...they overcharged me twice.

To be fair, there isn't (and shouldn't) be much atmosphere at a takeaway banchan place. The food quality is A++ and so are the prices. I ordered rainbow rice cake, and I must say that it's the best in the NY/NJ area. Absolute best!

Always great take out here. Hiking trip, potluck, picnic-- great for any occasion. Such a great variety here too! Quick grab and go food!

I've stumbled upon this place a while ago and tried their kimchi and got hooked since. It's not as spicy or tangy as some other ones, but it tastes more homemade which I love. I also like that their prices are very reasonable. I used to get ones from Hmart but I never loved them and they were also quite expensive. I havent tried all their banchans but the items I've tried were all good. I wish they would smaller containers of their radish kimchi since I am eating for one. I also really want to try their ddeok but they are a bit much for me. I've tried their sweet fried chicken and it was SOOO yummy. It was still crispy when I took it home. Their ddeokbokki was also really good. The sauce is thick and not too sweet and spicy. Their rice cakes were very soft and not too chewy after reheating it. I actually like getting kimbap and dipping the kimbap in their sauce for extra flavor. I've also tried their multicolored noodles they had at one point which were made from various vegetables. Sometimes they also have fried sweet potato chips which are a little sweet because they sprinkle a little sugar with it. They also have bento boxes if you want a quick meal. I've been meaning to go back because I also want to try their soups. So far, this has been my go to spot for when I want some korean banchan/snacks. I definitely need to back to try more. I love that their prices are reasonable and taste homemade.
