An authentic Cantonese noodle place and a gem at that! I love coming here and getting their beef stew and shrimp wonton noodles. Even their drinks and side dishes (such as fried fish skin) taste absolutely amazing! They also have a location in the heart of Flushing Main St. by Tangram Mall and I highly recommend trying their food!

Nothing beats Maxi’s when it comes to authentic Cantonese noodle. So many different toppings and you can choose the number of toppings on a wide variety of noodles they offer. Counter service and find your own seat and clean up.

All the noodles and dumpling size is humongous so you definitely get bang for your buck.

Overall, the restaurant is very clean and the staff is very pleasant. The only downside is the area could be difficult finding street parking but otherwise this is a must when it comes to Cantonese soup noodle.

Maxi's Noodles 2 is the second location (I'm guessing you could assume that by the 2) in Flushing, the other location is also in Flushing. Flushing has a wealth of good food options so it must be competitive.

My wife and I are town for a visit and Maxi's 2 is fairly new, about a year old, and I tried it because the original had good reviews and there were people inside. The place looked clean with a lot of seating.

I ordered a wonton noodle soup for my wife and a wonton beef stew noodle soup as take-out. The price is based on number of toppings, including the noodles. You go inside and order and pay at a counter.

They seemed to have a responsive kitchen staff, they made the others right away and my take-out order came out relatively quick, they probably have the wontons and beef stew prepped and ready to go.

The beef stew was very tender and the wontons were all shrimp, I like my wontons with pork too, but didn't mind because the wontons seemed like the biggest ones I've ever had and the wonton mixture was pretty tasty. The food was a decent portion, while waiting it seemed a little bigger for dine-in, but I'm good with it.

Good addition to the neighborhood.

I’ve had the original Maxi’s Noodle on Main Street saved to go for the longest time but HATE driving into Flushing. Thank goodness they opened another one off Main Street! Like the original, the food was great. Service was excellent. The wonton and dumplings were packed to the fullest with room to spare based on how much wonton and dumplings skin was left. The fried wonton didn’t have that much filling. It was a one bite type deal but a lot of skin. I ended up using the fried skin as topping for my wonton soup. There is a self-serve tea area if you want tea. The menu has cash price and credit/debit card price so if you want to pay less, bring cash. Overall, I would definitely revisit.

Residential street parking nearby and meter parking closer to it. More spacious than the original, cafeteria-style (order at counter, pick up when buzzer buzzes). Cash and credit card prices posted on the menu. Food served in disposable containers.
Hot cups and Complimentary hot tea - self-serve. Drinking water in pitchers.
Got the 2-topping soup with egg noodle, wontons and dumplings - large pieces filled with shrimp and pork/shrimp respectively. Added 2 dumplings priced by piece; asked to separate added topping of ja jiang - pork and mushroom in tomato-based sauce; not for me bec of sweetness which changed the soup flavor.
Curry fishballs were tasty, with a little spiciness.
Ordered Fried fish skin separately - were crispy but bland. Dipped them in the red vinegar which was needed (condiments on table). At home, were so much better with spicy filipino vinegar.
Lemon ribena is a lemony drink with black currant syrup. Just ok. Will try their HK tea next time.
Clean restroom available.

Excellent offerings of noodle and more with very well made wonton and “shua gow” and great beef stew. A specialized shop that knows its trade and focuses on making these items very yummy. The crunchy fish skin is great ! Milk tea is a nice match for the meals. Always squeeze in a bowl whenever I’m in the neighborhood. Versions without noodle are also great and less filling as great snacks ? A must try. Keep up the great work, Maxie ?

I've tried their original location in the heart of Flushing, so I was excited to try this location. I arrived during Sunday lunch hours so there was a bit of a wait for a group of 4. It's a self-serve style where you order at the counter and pick up your food when ready. The décor is modern and there is definitely more space than the other location. They accept card and cash, but of course, it's slightly cheaper if you pay with cash. The food was prepared within 5 minutes and it came out piping hot. I got to try their gigantic wontons, fish balls, and fried fish skin and of course I had to get the classic egg noodles. Everything from the meats to the broth were all flavorful. The egg noodles were the perfect consistency and chewy. I was so stuffed after eating a whole bowl. Definitely recommend coming to this location.

This is a place I've frequented since it opened at this location. For those who have not been there, this noodle shop is a self served setup. I went there again a week ago, but soon after I placed my order I realized I couldn't find a seat. I immediately asked the cashier to cancel my order because there was no seat available. It was literally just 30 seconds after my order was placed. I told the cashier I would go to do grocery shopping at the supermarket across the street and come back later. However, she didn't practice common sense, to say politely; I lost $14.00 that day. I spent about $50.00 a week at that place, but they're quite busy. I'm sure they don't miss or need my business. I have to select at least one star or I cannot post this review; for this incident, I don't think a star is deserved.

Went to the newer location to try their food. The people working there are so nice and pleasant. Service was efficient and the food was good. Their wontons are full of shrimps. I like their fried baby wontons. Their curry fishballs was tasty. All in all my experience here was good.

I enjoyed my meal here. I added the beef, wonton, and dace. All were tasty. We also tried the braised pork and mushroom. It was on the salty side and would go well with white rice.

You order at the counter and find yourself a seat to enjoy the meal.

I came by here after attending a conference and I really loved the wontons. I love that the dry one also comes with soup on the side.
