First time eating Bolivian food and it was out of this world! Saltenas were rich, juicy, and hearty (start at one end) and the Sopa de Mani is not at all what I expected peanut soup to taste like. think of Rich complex New England clam chowder without the clams. really no peanutty taste at all. the owner was wonderful as well
Las salteñas no son buenas
Great authentic cuisine that brings a little bit of Bolivia to the United States. The saltenas are absolutely amazing. The shell was cooked to perfection while the inside was a treat of flavors that was heavenly. The Silpancho had such great flavor. So authentic with the Carne lightly breaded and seasoned with the flavorful Zarza and a beet, carrot and vegetable salsa that complimented the egg and potato.
