Nine Thai by Thai Boulevard

My fat ass wanned something more than just bagel and coffee so i went to this 24 magical thai place and is a lie .It is not open and im still hungry :(

they never pick up the phone they let you order food on delivery sites and never prepare it and keep pushing back the delivery times

i’ve tried to order food from this place multiple times and they always approve the order but never prepare or relive my food. i try calling, no one picks up. so disappointing. don’t get food from here

Absolutely terrible experience. The customer service is unbelievably rude - instead of listening to customers, they argue back and forth like it's a debate.

As someone who's actually Thai, I can say with confidence this is not authentic Thai food. Whoever is cooking clearly has no idea what real Thai food tastes like.

The dishes were bland, poorly made, and nothing close to what they claim to serve. I honestly don't understand how this restaurant is still open after seeing so many bad reviews. Completely unprofessional from start to finish.
Never again.

These people are so sliwpokey; whining that I’m calling them. If they didn’t mess up the order i wouldn’t have to call them. And the crazy part is I’m deaf and I used sign language to communicate using video relay services: they kept hanging up on me for 10 straight minutes.

I’m going to file discrimination case against them with the division of human rights. They violated my rights by denying my calls using video relay services. They don’t deserve to have their business up and running.

Honestly I love this place. I came here with my family after the movies around 12am and they fed us and the food was delicious 😋. They were all polite and welcoming!! Thank you

Ordered from here and there was a roach in my food. Nauseating.

Absolutely RUDE! Ordered 3 hours ahead and food wasn’t ready. Food should not take 3+ hours to make. If you’re looking g for horrible customer service this is the place to be. Girl in front was rude with an ATTITUDE. NEVER ORDERING FROM THEM AGAIN! I’d rather travel farther and pay more for mediocre food then coming back here again! Disgusted but this place.

The food looks like if a bird chewed it and spat it out, lmao I lost $40 but it is what it is. The loser owner needs the money more than me 😂

I ordered delivery from uber eats since 9:45 am and till until 12 noon . I didn’t get my food and they adjusted the price higher than expected later on. Very disappointed. If u want good food and not over long waiting time, please don’t order from this restaurant and don’t waste your time please

Food is okay. But the service is terrible. The girl seems like not willing to take order. Giving annoyed expressions asking for anything. Severed burnt food. Not coming again for sure. No customers was there that was a red flag

I ordered the omelets with rice and minced chicken with holy basil. It’s was delicious. Rice was cooked to perfection, the chicken dish was made to order, with a delicious spicy taste that you will never forget.

My wife and I are foodies. We’ve traveled the world and enjoy eating traditional and authentic cuisines. We will typically go out of our way to have authenticity and quality over convenience. This typically leads us to eating Indian in Jackson heights, Astoria when we want Greek and so on. Here my unbiased opinion on nine Thai:

Food: Nine Thai is delicious. It is one of the few restaurants in NYC that closely resembles our travels through Thailand. We love the soups, pad see ew and curries.

You can read reviews commenting its inauthenticity, but those people may never had the chance to taste authentic Thai food. They could also be people who associate what Chinese food should taste like based on the Panda Express stall queens center mall. It isn’t those reviewers fault though from the many Thai restaurants we’ve eaten at in forest hills nine Thai isn’t afraid to use ingredients like fish sauce and galagang which most of us Americans aren’t accustom to. Also, it has a fragrance that again most Americans aren’t used to.

Service: Listen, know what you’re getting into. The owner makes the food from scratch. She sometimes also has to be the delivery person because these slander reviews can take a toll on a business. We plan for pickup and usually add 20 minutes to the estimated time we are given. And we do so happily knowing that every dish, including the soups, are made to order. Other restaurants will have a huge pot of Tom kha sitting there and you pay for it in quality. Also, the owner is a bit of sassy if you give attitude. Be kind, be patient, be appreciative of good food being cooked from scratch and you will have a 4 star service experience.

Atmosphere: I repeat, know what you’re getting into. The place is well decorated. But yes, most of her business is takeout and she will be the owner, waitress and sometimes chef. Sometimes my wife and I will eat in because nothings better than delicious hot soup served right away. I decided to give a 4 star for atmosphere and not 3 because I am knowingly walking in expecting her to be busy.

Overall: If you want to try authentic southern Thai food and don’t mind waiting for food to be cooked from scratch then nine Thai is a great option. It happens to be right around the corner for us which makes us thrilled to have them as a yummy option.

Worst place ever. DONT YOU EVER DARE ORDERING FROM HERE. I made an order through DoorDash at 1:46 and it’s 3:21 and still no food, my dasher was waiting a long time and I called and they hung up on my twice, the second time I called they told me not to call no more. Crazy to even talk to a customer like that when it’s clearly a mistake on their behalf. No place has ever treated me like that and they wasted my time and the dasher’s time.

This used to be my go to place but I'm never ordering again. The woman working there flipped out and was screaming at me bc my food wasn't delivered and grubhub said they would resend it.
