This meal was horrible. I ordered boneless ribs, which were mostly globs of fat with some overcooked smaller pieces, lying in a pool of fat. I also ordered vegetable chow fun. There were literally barely any vegetables except a few slivers of carrots and onion. The rest was these overcooked, mushy, almost gelatinous noodles. If I was eating in the restaurant I would have sent everything back and left. I wasted $25 :( I know nothing about the service or atmosphere but the system doesn't let you post a review if you don't pick a rating for everything. All I know is the food was gross.

I had a combo meal last night. The spare ribs were fabulous! Perhaps the best I've had in a while. I will be ordering them again soon.

I visited Red House Kitchen recently, hoping to enjoy a quick and affordable meal as the restaurant is conveniently located nearby. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing, and I will not be returning. To start, I ordered a 4-piece fried chicken wings and pork fried rice, which is usually around $11, a price I have been happy with in the past. However, this time, they tried to sneak an additional charge by adding a single extra chicken wing and charging me $3 more than usual. A single wing is not worth $3, and when I questioned the charge, the lady behind the counter was unapologetically dismissive, clearly not interested in explaining the mistake or even trying to make it right. The total ended up being $14.50 for a meal that I normally get for $11 – that’s over a 30% increase for no reason at all! It's clear they are trying to squeeze customers for every cent they can. The food itself wasn’t much better. The fried chicken wings were greasy to the point of being soggy, and the oil used for frying seemed like it hadn’t been changed in a while. The wings tasted off, with that distinct, old oil flavor that made them pretty unappetizing. The pork fried rice was similarly disappointing: greasy and bland, lacking the flavor and texture I usually expect from a simple dish. It’s clear they don’t prioritize freshness or quality. On top of everything, the staff’s attitude was downright rude. The woman who took my order had no customer service skills whatsoever, and when I politely pointed out the overcharge, she was dismissive and didn’t seem to care. It felt like she was just trying to get me in and out as quickly as possible, with no concern for providing a positive dining experience. In summary, Red House Kitchen has gone downhill. The food is overpriced and poorly made, the staff is rude, and the entire experience left me feeling cheated. There are plenty of other nearby options with better food and service, and I won’t be returning to this one again. Avoid this place if you care about quality food and fair prices.

I ordered two dishes to go at this Chinese restaurant. It cost me almost 40 dollars including sales tax. One was vegetable dish, and the other was chicken with tofu. When I got home, I discovered that the amount of the food in each dish was only half of amount that I had gotten at the same price from other Chinese restaurants that I have been to.The dish with chicken that I ordered had only a very small piece of chichen (It was less than a quarter of your smallest finger nail if I identified that piece as chicken correctly. Honestly, I was still not sure if that piece was chicken). The brown sauce was oversaturated all over the ingredients in both dishes. Also, the sauce was about half an inch deep on the bottom of the containers. In other words, it was too much sauce. Both dishes were essentially the same. However, I paid for the chicken dish more than the vegetable one. I have been to many Chinese restaurants. This one was one of the worst.I threw out most of them. The only positive thing was that the food that I had ordered came quickly after I placed the order, and they speak English. One more thing: cooking grease smell was in the air at the restaurant while I was waiting for my order. That smell was not pleasant.

Native New Yorker born and bred, I have been to alot of spots over my life, and I’m always eager to take a shot on a new spot! What a disappointment ordered General Tso’s combination and the it was basically old chicken smothered in sauce. Safe to say never again.

Love this place. I live nearby and the delivery is always super quick and the food is always fresh and delicious. Perfect local Chinese food spot for the money

What's usually great service was exceptionally disgusting today. I live in the basement and I don't always hear the doorbell (especially with a screaming baby). Their delivery guy had the nerve to call me and DEMAND that I open the door and gave me a nasty attitude when I walked up.
