Had 5 rolls and the yellowtail jalapeño appetizer delivered. It was all definitely very tasty, but the rolls were so small! I hope the restaurant will consider making the rolls larger, otherwise I don't think I would order again.
Sushi Akio has always been a solid sushi place when I'm having cravings and I always find myself ordering their lunch specials (every day until 4pm) from time to time. Currently it's around $14 for 3 rolls (with your choice of soup or salad), but I still think it's a decent price compared to other places. absolutely excellent sushi in the Forest Hill neighborhoods, and the scallop Maki roll was the ultimate best. so fresh and bouncy and full of delicious flavor, and the wasabi is ready made so it is crumbly and has a very distinct texture, like you put it on top of the sushi instead of mixing it when the soy sauce, also had the Forest Hill roll and the Akio roll and would definitely recommend the restaurant
