Please don’t open the door for business if you are not ready! When I went in to buy bread, most of the shelves were empty, and I had to wait 10 minutes for the most basic pineapple buns. So what was the point of opening the door? One customer asked too many questions, and they started to feel impatient. If you had prepared everything before opening the door, I believe your service attitude would also improve. Just because you were busy packaging bread, you felt the customer was annoyed! Why can’t I start work half an hour earlier or open the door half an hour later? Isn’t it good to start business after everything is ready?

Tai Pan Bakery has been a long standing bakery on Main street for many years. From bakery food varieties such as egg tarts, Sponge cakes, roast pork buns, neopolitan cakes, fruit cakes, drinks, and more. There's something for everyone.

Portuguese egg tarts are what my husband loves to have when he stops by Tai Pan bakery. He has said before, this is the only bakery he's seen where the egg tarts are oval shaped, not circle. More egg is a great thing.

Whether you stop by for a quick bite or buy a variety of different baked goods to bring home - check out Tai Pan bakery. Cash only. Parking along main street is tricky so becareful and read street signs. Walking is recommended, park your car in Skyview Mall (a bit of a walk, but worth it compared to the other overpriced lots).

This bakery is amazing. Their Custard pineapple bun is the best pineapple bun i've ever consumed. The fresh sesame egg rolls are also stunning. So worth it for the price

It’s rare to come to Flushing, and a friend recommended that you must try the original egg tart. The tart skin is crispy and the inside is sweet. I specially bought a box and took it back to Miami. Even though it had been chilled, it was still delicious.

My sister and I went to this bakery and bought a pineapple bun, egg custard, sponge cakes, and teas with less sugar. The food was wonderful, the service was good, and the atmosphere was noisy with people talking.

Kid-friendliness: This place is kid-friendly because families can take kids to this place to eat or drink.

Wheelchair accessibility: This place is wheelchair accessible because it is on street level.

Waited in line for checkout for half a day! The waiter will directly ask the bread buyer to jump in line. If you don’t buy bread and wait in line, the waiter will ignore you! Can't help you order food, checkout line sucks

By and far the absolute BEST spot in Flushing for Buns of all variety! Their Honey Baked Pork Buns have been a must have for an embarrassingly long time.

Went to this place on 10/27/24, a staff women with black suit can ignore me and went to serve someone who cut in the line. At that time, there were only me and him. I was like, ishhhhhhhh. Nice service!!!! ✊👊👊👊👊

I came here for the egg tart, and it did not disappoint! Comparable to what I had in Hong Kong. Yuan Yang is so so as they use a cheap tea bag, but that was not what I came here for so it was ok to me.
