The Globe has been a customer's Cheers bar since moving to NYC in January 2019, when they knew nobody. The staff is tremendously kind and caring, and need to be paid overtime for sometimes being an unofficial therapist. The customer has countless amazing memories playing pool here and doing karaoke on Saturday nights. They often bring snacks and food since the restaurant doesn't serve it, and even have a tradition of trading sour candy with the staff. The staff does the best job of keeping this place a safe space where all feel welcome and respected. The customer directs everyone here when they are in town.
