I been here a few times now but it has been a while. It’s also the first time I noticed they charge you a service fee on the bill. I came here on Friday night with my wife. It wasn’t too busy but stood there and waited for about 2 minutes before anyone came over to seat us. Food and drink was ok but not worth the small amount of service fee that they charge now.
Great place, food was good a bit pricy compared to the amount you get but well worth it it was very flavorful and so were the drinks definitely recommend their mojitos . The customer service was just good would definitely be coming back.
As a resident of Forest Hills Matíz had been on my radar for a while and I decided to give it a try along with my wife. Service and ambiance were ok. Albeit a bit distracted, but ok. We visited on a weekday at night after 7pm and it wasn’t too busy…but did notice the staff congregated in the bar area socializing. Don’t know if that’s the norm ??♂️.
