Great place. The steak tacos are EXCEPTIONAL as are the vegetarian ones. They cost a little more than street tacos but the upcharge is for the great table service and sit down experience. Perfectly attentive staff. Drinks were nice and strong too

Wow! I didn’t know about this place and I’m so happy I found it! Awesome nacho tower. My jaw dropped when I saw it and it’s really good. Fresh ingredients too! Next time I have to try the tacos

Marginally better than Taco Bell but much more expensive. The beer on tap tastes like it hasn't been flushed out in weeks or months.
The place is cute but not much more than some hanging piñatas...

Gluten free Mexican options that taste amazing? Sign me up! Honestly, I recommend Metro Taco whether or not you need to eat GF. I like the shrimp tacos and the mushroom tacos - but the others are also great.
Solid guacamole with GF chips! The best! Great, relaxing restaurant to have in the neighborhood. The owners and staff are friendly.
Vegetarian options: Mushroom tacos are solid!
Dietary restrictions: They easily accommodate gluten free needs.
Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly options

Likes: menu labels what is Gluten Free. Ordered: Steak Taco + Chicken Taco. The food was tasty. I didn't have a reaction.
Server = nice. But when he spoke on the desserts for some reason said the Churros were Gluten Free. He even went to ask the chef to check... so either he messed up, the chef messed up or they both did. To be safe, I checked the online menu and it said it contains gluten, and then checked the actual paper menu which also said it contains gluten. So, ALWAYS check. But I would still go back.

Friendly and polite service, fantastic drinks, and great, fresh flavors!
I was blown away by the nacho tower! I've never seen this approach to nachos before but it is great. All the toppings in every bite, delicious! I also had a classic margarita which at first sip tasted a bit too sweet, but I did like it. The watermelon margarita was also good.
Kid-friendliness: We went late, so there were no kids, but I could see crayons and books and things that looked like they'd be offered to any kids eating there.

Restaurantji Recommends
The seitan al pastor taco was delicious. The mushroom taco was okay (chipotle mayo was too mayoey for my taste). Papas bravas were tasty. Their sides of charred broccoli and beans/rice were vegan, well flavored and big enough for two My partner had a margarita and default tequila was clearly very “well” so recommend upgrading if you can.
Definitely not authentic, I would say it’s a bit upper scale from Taco Bell. Had a tostada that came wrapped with yellow cheddar cheese idk what Mexican uses cheddar on an tostada or even wrap a tostada for that matter. Had some tacos that didn’t come with lime, no green or red sauce. If you’re looking for authentic flavor this is not it and would recommend going to a taco trunk on Roosevelt for great flavor. This place has potential if they create more authentic style food and not copy Taco Bell.

I have been ordering takeout from here for quite a while. I do also like going there, one of my favorite items on the menu its the Charred corn cheese dip, however today it was such a disappointment, I was craving the dip so I did a google order, delivery was super fast which is great, but when I sat down to eat my food after mixing the dip with the pico de gallo thats usually on top I realized the dip was not the usual consistency, it was super watery not cheese nor creamy like it usually is, aside from it being watery, it was bland and it did not taste at all like it always does. The restaurant has been a hit or miss lately not sure if they are changing kitchen staff or what it is but it is disappointing to see how downhill it has been for the last couple of months.

Best place in Forest Hills for taco Tuesday. They have great gluten-free and vegan options.
