Everything was fine until the crispy duck salad. It’s literally depressing with several pieces of whatever bird meat I don’t recognize on top of pre-made salad, and I was charged 15 bucks for this *. It just doesn’t taste like duck at all. I’m very upset, will never come back.

My family and I have been to this place years ago and had roti canai, pad thai, and many other foods. The service was wonderful. The atmosphere was that there were people dining in there, and many others.

We love this place, Pinang is our go-to spot. The food is always delicious, flavorful, and super comforting. The vibe is relaxed, the staff are friendly, and it’s just one of those places you keep coming back to. Total gem in Forest Hills.

Very delicious Asian cuisine. There are a mix of Asian dishes on the menu but it’s more Malaysian in my opinion, which is some of my favorite food.

Try the roti cani, any of the fried rice dishes, and the satay, chicken or beef. Then was is all down with the iced coffee.

The atmosphere in here is really relaxing and the staff is very polite, friendly and attentive.

Great place to sit in and eat. Enjoy.

Good food, good service, nice clean ambiance. Enough veg options for vegetarians. Will return to try more options especially the deserts and beverage on a warmer day.

A decent Malay restaurant, even if it doesn't stand out.

For appetizer, we had the roti canai, a thin wide and folded crepe with a side dish of chicken curry to dip into. This was good as the crepe was fresh and crispy, yet also chewy in places.

For entree, we had a curry noodle soup, as well as a salt-and-pepper fried porkchop dish. The porkchop was very tasty, with a generous portion. The batter was light and crispy, the meat tender and well seasoned.

My curry soup was good, filled with two types of noodles, spiced chicken, and bean sprouts. However, the broth was a bit uninspiring; it was a mild curry that did not stand out much. It was okay in my opinion, but I did not crave more of it... it was more like a comfort food.

As for atmosphere, it is quiet but somewhat dim. The space is long with open front windows, but the paint is medium green and the lights are low. Some table have a light overhead, some do not. Staff is friendly.

Hiananese chicken was amazing! As was everything else, including, but not limited to the Malaysian iced coffee, perfectly strong and sweet, but not too sweet. Fried dumpling soup was also the best! :: and the staff is very friendly! highly recommend great neighborhood spot. Will
definitely be back!
