Came here for lunch and a great find in upstate NY. The food was delicious. I had their Thai red lentil soup. Service was good. They do not rush you. Highly recommend.

The Tulip and the Rose Cafe is a hidden gem in Franklin, offering excellent vegetarian options and exceptional service. This charming eatery serves incredible dinners and brunches, with must-try dishes like Javanese Noodles and Thai red lentil soup. The atmosphere is super chill, with good vibes and a fine dining experience. The menu features special items like quail hoisin, crab cakes, Moroccan lamb chops, and pistachio baklava with homemade rose saffron ice cream. Customers have praised the za’tar spiced duck wings and Korean fried chicken sandwich as well. The cafe is kid-friendly, with booth seating and cups for kids, and all items are halal except the steak and Turkish burger. Visitors have enjoyed sharing Kung Pow dumplings, and the Korean fried chicken is noted for being crunchy, spicy, and delicious. The cafe also offers a separate vegan section, with popular dishes like falafel platter, dolma, and side salad, though some found the Thai lentil soup less enjoyable. Many customers appreciate the great atmosphere and attentive owners. For dessert, pistachio and walnut baklava are highly recommended. Whether looking for a relaxing meal or a culinary delight, this cafe will leave visitors wanting to come back for more.
